SirJosephPorter, I put about as much credence in the AP poll as you put in Rasmussen.
So here is one that we - hopefully - both can agree on:
According to Gallup Poll, Obama's favourable rating is 51%, unfavourable is 42%.
I'd say that is too close for comfort for such a Messianic personage.
I have no problem with that poll, YJ, that is what most polls show. But I find it interesting that at least one poll shows his approval has shot up to 56% (especially when the same poll put his approval at 50% just a month ago).
It would be interesting to see if other polls mirror these findings (Gallop etc.), or it is just an isolated poll. However, the poll is by no means partial to Obama (as Rasmussen is to Republicans). If you look at the link I posted, the numbers are pretty much in line with other polls.
