instead of just supplying weapons if that were to happen fighting would dwindle.

Might have something to do with; a) Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian territory, b) only 10% of Israeli Jews are Semitic and most of the Palestinians and surrounding Islamic countries are mostly Arabs = Semites (except Iran).
