Where as for me, my reward is Jesus ...

This is the enthusiasm, and this is the top of enthusiasm; in fact it is more than idolatry; this is the association with God; you associate Jesus with God: you have made him an associate or partner with God concerning your servitude and glorification: that you serve Jesus as do you serve God the Creator, and you glorify Jesus as do you glorify God; this is contrary to the purpose of Jesus Christ that he invited people to God alone and considered the First Commandment as the most important of all the commandments: that is to serve God alone. This association with God will lead to complete loss in the next world; and even Jesus cannot save the associater who associates others with God.

You make no distinction between God and Jesus; while:
  • God is the Creator, and Jesus is the created.
  • God is the Eternal, Who does not die; while Jesus lived for many years like other prophets and like other people, then died, and his soul –like other prophets – went to the neighborhood of his Lord.
  • God is not a son of man, while Jesus is a son of man, like other people.
  • Jesus is an apostle or a messenger sent by God, and the apostle or the one sent is never greater than He that sends him.
  • God does not eat and drink, while Jesus – like other people – ate food and drank water; the natural result of the eating food and drinking water is to pass bowel motion and urine: how can such man be a god?
  • Jesus was born of a woman; while God was not begotten; He is the Eternal.

In Paradise, not only the physical pleasures are obtained; but the good pleasure of God. God – be glorified – said in the Quran 9: 72
The explanation: (God has [in the Quran] promised to the believers, [both] men and women, gardens [in the Hereafter] – below [the trees of ] which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever – and good dwellings in the seven gardens; and God's good pleasure will be [to them] greater [than the gardens]; that [prosperity and good pleasure] is [certainly] the great success [in the Hereafter.] )

Jesus and the rest of prophets desire and hope in having such good pleasure of God, and that God – be glorified – will be pleased with them.

The atmospheric pressure on Mars is in the order of one percent of that on Earth. This means that liquid water cannot exist anywhere on the planet. Without liquid water lakes, forests, and cities are pretty much impossible. Get another book.

Then how can ice be present in large amounts in the polar regions of Mars? and where such ice go after it melt in summer?
In case there are frozen regions on Mars, then there should be equatorial hot regions, and other intermediate regions with moderate temperatures.
After moderation of the raw images of Mars: trying to make such images clearer, it may be the surface details have been obscured or fainted away; for the purpose of focusing!?

Eanassir,

I’ve got one up on you.

Look, you judged me as a condemned adulterer, because of your beliefs.

In my belief, I neither judge you nor condemn you, but instead include your soul with mine as purchased in Jesus.

I can not convince you to believe my way, nor can you convince me to believe your way.

But I can tell you right now, your beliefs will not have any tolerance for mine, while mine has all the tolerance for yours.

You know what I am talking about, if I were considered an infidel, would I be welcomed into your house?
Where as I, would consider you of a different religious belief, I would still welcome you into my house.
[an-Nisa' 4:89] They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.

You see what I am getting at?

Jesus said, love your enemies : Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Christianities teachings says that you are condemned because you don’t believe Jesus is God, as you say that I am condemned because I make Jesus as God.

But I say what Jesus says: Luk 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Peace>>>AJ

Reply 1:
It is the enthusiasm that has led many of people to be atheists and to be anti-religious; because they see the religion displayed to them non-logical and non-sense. The story of Prophet Jesus and that God united with Him through incarnation, and the complex interpretations that have to be followed and believed in spite of being non-logical and non-sense have enhanced the atheism.
While all this is not from God, but fabricated by many religious leaders and adopted and encouraged by many political chiefs and through successive generations, until the original pure Messianic monotheistic mission was completely distorted, to become something like idolatry, and the monotheism turned into tritheism.
Concerning the Quranic revelation 4: 89
The explanation: (They long that you [believers] should disbelieve even as have they disbelieved, so that you may be equal [with them in being disbelievers.] So take for yourselves no friends from among them till they emigrate in the cause of God; but if they turn away [from you and from believing in your prophet-hood] then seize them and slay them wherever you find them, and take for yourselves no friend nor helper from among them.)

This aya, and the preceding one, was revealed concerning some hypocrites that came to Medina where Prophet Mohammed was; they pretended to convert and become Muslims; then they returned to Mecca and apostatized from the Islam.

However, in case Prophet Mohammed fought the idolaters who hurt and denied him, expelled him from his home at Mecca and tried to kill him, and they killed some of the believers, exiled them from their homes and robbed their property, only because they believed in God alone and rejected the idols; we should know that Moses had ordered the Children of Israel to fight the Canaanites, and take in possession their homes and wealth, whereas they had not hurt nor had they fought him; but only that they were associaters (or idolaters) worshipping the idols.
Likewise, David fought the idolaters, and there were other prophets and apostles who fought the associaters or idolaters; and that was according to God’s command; because God-be exalted- hates all associaters and idolaters, and gets angry with them, and gives [to their enemies] power over them, to humiliate them by killing and taking them captives and taking their wealth in possession.

Reply 2:

I say: can anyone object to God, or compel Him to do something, or imply on Him that the thing should be so and so, or restrict His grace and favor to some folk rather than others?
Can anybody prevent God from making Jesus die, and his mother and all the inhabitants of the earth?
In fact, He made Jesus, his mother and all generations; He made all of these die, and their souls went to the next world. Jesus, his mother and the righteous went to Paradise in the neighborhood of God.
God – be exalted – said in the Quran 5: 75
The explanation: (The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a messenger, messengers before him passed away [so why do you glorify him alone, excluding others?] His mother was a true believer [in the Ten Commandments of her Lord]; [the Messiah and his mother] both ate food [and anyone eats food, has to relieve nature, therefore how could they be gods?] See [Mohammed] how We make clear the revelations to them; then see how perverted they are [away from the truth!] )

Ice isn't liquid water, and it doesn't melt, it sublimates directly to vapour under martian conditions. Happens on earth sometimes too; I've seen ice on wooden structures in my yard go directly to vapour without melting at temperatures well below zero, and under the right conditions I can even see the vapour rising.

In case there are frozen regions on Mars, then there should be equatorial hot regions, and other intermediate regions with moderate temperatures
That doesn't follow. The existence of frozen regions in no way suggests there should be hot or temperate regions as well. Mars, remember, is over 50% farther from the sun than the earth is and receives proportionately much less solar energy. Are you familiar with the inverse square law?

Like #juan said, get another book. The one you have is leading you into error.

Dear Dexter Sinister,
This is right, the ice may sublimate directly into vapor; but where will this water vapor go? Will it rain later on or what?
I saw one or two images of Mars revealing some clouds in its atmosphere. The image was picked in April 1999, by the Mars Orbiter Camera. They speak also of equatorial and polar regions and of Spring, Winter, Summer and Autumn on Mars. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/mars/explore.html

And in case there is a north pole and another south pole; and there are winter, summer and other seasons; so that this pole will shrink in summer, while the other one will increase in winter of the other half of the planet; then why isn't there any graduation in temperature between these two poles?
Moreover, will all Mars regions have the same temperature ? In this case why ice concentrates in the two polar regions ?
And the while the earth is at certain distance from the Sun, and evenso we see this graduation of freezing, coldness, moderate and hot regions on the earth; because of the earth axis inclination.
This may be the same situation on Mars, but the different axis of Mars may counteract for the difference in distance of Earth and Mars away from the Sun. If the inclination is more or less; this will lead to more perpendicular or horizontal sunrays distribution on Mars and other planets.

Prophet Moses was given the law, and by the law, Moses could destroy human life.
The man picking up sticks on the Sabbath was stoned to death, he and his whole family.
That was the law then with prophet Moses, an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth.
This was the law with the Levitical priesthood then:
Lev 24:20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again
.

But then The prophet, priest, and son of God, came and reversed the law of Moses to now love your enemies, and meaning not to kill them because of their religious beliefs.
Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

If you attend to the words of prophet Jesus, to love your enemies, would you consider extinguishing somebody's life if they believed completely the opposite of you and wanted to reside in your neighborhood?

Only if in their belief they acted to force their beliefs in any manner upon me.
I believe in the right to live your life the way you see fit as long as it doesn't interfere with the next guy doing just that. So to believe opposite of that along with other things, would mean that I in the interest of self preservation must respond in kind with enough force to deter any attempt at oppression.

I have a feeling that the most likely precipitation on Mars would be a sort of sleet, made up of water ice and C02. I'm pretty sure the polar caps are both water ice and dry ice. Given the atmospheric pressure, liquid rain is unlikely.

That is a valid point! If the enemy comes to kill you because of their beliefs, you have a right to defend yourself.
That again, becomes a matter of choice.
Take for instance the Holocaust, the Jews could of have defended themselves but chose not to.
Americans,as well as other countries, though many are Christians also will defend themselves based on those same terms.
So, what is it that one can allow, what can one's conscience allow and what are we willing to sacrifice to maintain law and order?
That again is up to the individual.

There is no standard to my thinking that everyone should tow, other than the standard for everyone to love one another.
But, sometimes in cases as we have spoken about, the decision belongs to the individual.
The best example I can think of, of a person not wanting to kill another person in a war situation, was Mohammad Ali, the boxer as well as many of the conscientious objectors as well, for they were led by what they believed was right.

I saw in a documentary film one time of a priest blessing the airplane that was about to go on a bombing run, and at the same time they showed the opposite side, the enemy, doing the same thing.
Now that has to make one wonder just who is right and who is wrong.

The problem I saw and see is that humanity was as like two brothers of different religious beliefs quarreling over who should be right in the name of the same God.

Thing is, that God can adjust the circumstances of advantage to fit the ones whose heart is purer .

It is mostly the relative few of humanity which causes the whole to wars because of radical thinking, lusts for power, money and wealth.

Any thoughts about "life" existing in the universe that doesn't entertain your fantasies about "god"?

What if, substances in the universe combine over long periods of time to produce something we come along and call "life"? I'll bet you're the kind of guy who'd champion the cause of corralling these beings into the same school of thought as your own.....

It'd be really important to your way of thinking I'd speculate to investigate that "life's" "belief system(s) and compare them to your own....would I be right?

If life is out there, yes, I'd be interested because as I understand the bible, it only gives me the information that is vital to my existence here on earth, so anything new, sure would be interesting.

Important? Yes, absolutely. For if I live by a standard which I believe to be inclusive of all beliefs, then I'd want to know it they did too.

I mean wouldn't you?

Moses, Jesus, Mohammed and all other prophets and apostles worked according to the will of God – be glorified. These instructions like the soul for soul, a tooth for tooth, an eye for an eye implicate the justice; that neither Jesus nor any other prophet can deny (even God recognizes that and he legislated that law); but still the pardoning and forgiving is better. In fact all these respectful prophets invited people to pardon and forgiving each other; this will be better than retaliation, but still the one who has been wronged can take his rights.
Of course, such are the high morale and teachings of our noble teacher Jesus Christ – peace be on him – like the noble conduct of our guide Prophet Mohammed – peace be on him.

Concerning Jesus Christ, God – be glorified – said in the Quran 3: 45-46
The explanation: (And when the angels said: "O Mary! God gives you a glad tidings of [bearing a child, in spite of being virgin, who is] a Word from Him [: God created him without father by saying: 'Be' and he was as God willed], whose name is the Christ: Jesus, the son of Mary, honorable in the World and in the Hereafter and one of those favorites brought close [in the neighborhood of God.]"
"And he will speak to people [when he will be a baby] in the cradle, and when he will be a middle-aged man, and will be one of the righteous [prophets.]")

Similarly our noble Prophet Mohammed, after he conquered Mecca, he captured his enemies: those who fought him and killed his comrades and compelled him to leave his own hometown, and he said to them: "What do you think I am going to do to you?" They said: "We expect of you every good: you are our noble brother, and the son of our noble brother!" He said to them: "Then go; you are released; you are free." And he pardoned and released them.

In case you see – whether on Earth or on another planet – a house with a door, windows, a kitchen, a bathroom, a store, a living-room, w.c., sleeping rooms and furniture; can you believe it has been spontaneously built without any builder nor is there any owner of it?
And if you see 10 houses or more, constructed in the same way and in the same order, won't you believe that the builder is the same one?

I think the parameters and data of Mars are not fixed; they are vulnerable to changes day by day.
The constituents of the planets, being of the same origin, is almost similar, but not necessarily identical; they are earths like our earths, with some difference regarding their different masses, the length of the day and night there on the planets, and the duration of the year of any planet. There should also be some difference in the atmospheric pressure of each planet according to the height of its atmosphere; the origin of the atmosphere is from the planet itself: the gases constituents of the atmosphere of all planets may be similar, but not necessarily identical.

Juan, let me direct you to this thread. This is the only sure-fire evidence for water on mars so far

And they may find rivers, seas and people. As did I say in an article:
The Quran foretells a future meeting with the people of Mars.
See:
An anticipated meeting between the inhabitants of Earth and the inhabitants of some other planets
