I am so messed up on this election. I agree with the cons on some issues, and yet the NDP on other different issues. The green party is freaking loony. Stephane Dion? Yeah right! The Canadian Action Party has some good ideas, but how bout getting organized for once. There is no BC separatist party. The Work Less Party isn't in my riding. My only other choice are the freaking commies, or the Marijuana Party. I down for the MP, but most of them actually favour legalizing all drugs, not just weed. What kind of messed up thinking is that?! I just don't know anymore. Maybe I should start my own party. :angry3:

That's actually a good idea. What you need is a party that serves you and not the 700 billion dollar capitalist elephant in the room. All the present partys work to serve that elephant, if they didn't they would have said something before now and made that abundantly clear. In Canada there is "a" party or at best "a" party and a half. I think the CAP are closest to reality based governance. What's a drug?

That's good. Real good. I like that. A return to the gold standard perhaps.

Me too.

What's a drug?

Drugs are bad. Okay? If you do drugs your bad. Don't do drugs. Okaaay? If you see drugs, don't touch them! Cuz drugs are bad.....

A speech OF PLAGIARISM designed to help the NEO Con Bush agenda, no weapons of mass distraction were ever found, Bush after 911 got all NEO CONS TO JUMP ON THE WAGON OF SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS….. that self righteousness is what has given the NEO CONS IN THE US AND ITS FOLLOWERS A BLACK EYE….

Harper is so phony, he comes on with the cheap theatrics, “we give families a $500 tax credit towards music or art lessons so they can prepare them self’s for the Arts as a profession…..WHAT A LOAD OF P!SH. The loser has just contradicted him self, on one hand telling Canadians that the Canadian people don’t like to come home from work tired and open the television to watch some rich arts people perform…and on the other hand Harper is looking to produce a new generation of artists. The ones in existence now they all can go and get lost according to Harper…. The man is a total contradiction and a f ucking hypocrite to boot….

HARPER WILL SEND A 14 YEAR OLD TO PRISON FOR LIFE

LOL, one note, it depends what the 14 year old did. If it was murder, I agree.... Life in prison, no parole.

I just think that a man or a woman whose conviction to preserving life is genuine, he or she will do the right thing to preserve the youngster at good times and bad times. But if the youngster kills some one then that youngster is a useless life…….. lets throw the f ucker in for life………………That is intolerant not to provide the correct infrastructure so the kid will not become a killer……The kid will not be able to provide useful program’s for him or her self, the easiest thing for a 14 year old kid is to hang out and if trouble is around the corner then by all logical conclusions the kid will resort to what is easy, the street becomes very easy to adopt when there is no proper guidance by the system…… ALL and all a Government who will subject difficult kids to a jail environment are intolerant as well it proves that they do not have any idea how to combat dysfunctional kids….

You keep on blithering about a 14 year old. Do you have a specific case in mind, or is it an age you dreamed up?? I am sure some 14 year olds are just as street wise as you, and they know what murder is all about. I wouldn't want them running around in the streets willy nilly if they have committed murder. They need to be punished and retrained.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say.....but here are some points.

-nowhere in the plan does it say that young offenders that are given a life sentence will not be eligible for parole in either 10 or 15 years.........which is typical. Hardly a life behind bars. Personally, I have no problem with a young murderer serving 10 years.

-nowhere in the plan does it say 14 year olds would serve their time in an adult institution........they would probably be transferred on their 18th birthday. duceppe's "young flesh" crack is politicing at its worst.

More reason for them to spend some time in an institution....

And where are the parent(s)???? Can't blame anyone else for that!

Or the parent or parents may have broken up and neither the mother nor the father was capable to look after responsibility, so Abortion and all that jazz? The rooster has come home to roost…

Would it surprise you to hear a lot of these kids are well heeled little buggers from suburbia with every chance and every toy known to cool and the boyz and it's just cool to be a bad ass mofo like in all the games and videos. Several times, they've been dragged home to a full set of shocked parents - a corporate couple - who ragged on the cop because "my Johnny would never do anything like that" ... and Johnny knows his rights....
