Trump said he could agree to reopen the shuttered parts of government through Feb. 15, a move that will let hundreds of thousands of federal workers finally get paid.
But Trump also hinted that if Congress can't pass legislation funding his border wall by the middle of next month, he would be forced to declare a national emergency at the border. That move would let Trump spend emergency funds to build parts of his wall, although it's also expected to draw a legal challenge.

In this case..... he really had no choice. He responds to POLLS ...... not the inhumanity that he had created. Time will tell as to what happens next......and if he will do the shutdown thing again or declare some national emergency to get HIS way. As he said he has alternatives..........not all that great though He is not going to take kindly to being described as a caver.........so watch his anger come out via Twitter........which is his safe zone to explode at anyone or everyone that offends him. He is an underdeveloped child that has had HIS way all his life and can't handle anything else . like not being the center of his universe. like rejection, and goodness.....he can't handle criticism...... ........On the most basic level he is a spoiled overgrown kid....... that never had to mature....... People are dispensable. unless they are useful to him and his pathology.

See, this is the pattern of his life. As a real estate developer, he'd go to investors and make his pitch. Maybe one out of twelve would be interested. Anybody who wasn't, he'd simply drop and move on. Like any grifter, he knows there's always another chump just round the corner.
Now, however, he's faced with people who don't buy his lies, and don't go away. And now he has a powerful person who is not giving in to his BS, ignores his tantrums and threats, and tells him he can deal like an adult, or get nothing. And the longer he bluffs and blusters, the worse he looks.
So, like any grifter whose con is blown, he folds his hand and slinks away.

One of the key messages from the Dems has been their demand to address border security with an evidence-based foundation. They aren't interested in funding a wall just because Trump says its important and his fans believe whatever he says.
Sure. They gave their word to negotiate on border security. And they will.
But no matter how much you blubber and shriek, they did not give their word to provide funding for the Trump Wall.
Kinda funny watching Moosie flop around, lie, BS, whimper, and run off on irrelevant tangents.

Nope the whole deal was to separate the 2 reopen Gov. short term and negotiate border security which includes the wall in 3 weeks. Besides wasn't Nancy prepared to submit a bill with full 5.7 Billion border security not including the wall just before the new Senate agreement was accepted?
