And in the end, not getting what he wanted, the spoiled brat gave in.

It was apart of the agreement key piece in the Dem. bill, Pelosi was giddy in her press conference were she also just announced to sit down with the GOP for funding the border, including the wall, in the next 3 weeks. So now what T'bones?

She didn't say a single word about the wall. When a reporter asked, she said only "I've made myself very clear on the wall."

I think you better watch again because they sure as hell were saying that a deal on border security is to be made in the next 3 weeks, and 1 of the 2 bills to be voted on was about Homeland security needs.


I will admit they avoided the use of the word "wall"

Trump drops wall funding demand, reaches deal to end the government shutdown

However, the deal only provides funding for 21 days. If lawmakers and the White House cannot reach an agreement on the border wall funding before mid-February, the government could again be forced into a partial shutdown.
Military members, along with Defense and Veterans Affairs Department employees, are not directly affected by this shutdown because their agency budgets were approved last fall.
