Personally, I've always preferred the truth.

I'd rather hear "We hate you," or "We don't really care about you one way or the other, we just wanted you out of our way, but some bullshit Christian conscience caused us to make a half-assed effort to reconcile your rights with our European laws."

I'll admit, a while ago I would have been supportive of the apology stuff. IMO to me, while it might seem not needed, I think it could say a lot to some that there is an apology out there at least for what happened. (Some; granted not all care about an apology and many will ignore it).

He once again showed how quick he is to anger yesterday when confronted by a volunteer who wanted to fill sand bags . The guy was complaining that Trudeau was just there for a photo op and hampering the relief efforts . Justine said he was providing an example to Canadians to help their neighbours in times of trouble , as if Canadians don’t already do so .
The guys complaint was Trudeau’s security shut down the roads leading in , so the actual volunteers couldn’t access the area and supplies needed to do their job . Trudeau was as I said angry that a mere volunteer would question his effort and looked like he wanted to give him a Shawinagin hand shake .
