Except players on a Stanley Cup contending team have been playing together for six months. It takes time to learn new teammates, strategies etc
Ryan Getzlaf and Cory Perry play together in Anaheim, and
are together on team canada, great duo.
Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook play defence together in
chicago, and came as a pair, excellent choice.
Shay Webber is a big defencemen who plays for nashville, and
is big, powerful and very talented, he is the one who shot
the puck 'through' the net the other day, and there was no
hole in the net, they showed the black marks from the puck
as it was forced through the webbing, his shot is so hard,
and that is a good example of just how hard he can shoot.

Weber is an awesome player, it's a shame he is stuck in Nashville where you hardly hear about him.

That was some shot, even with the replays I couldn't see it go thru the net.
no I couldn't either, but I thought after, what if a shot like that 'hit'
one of the players on the way through, with shots getting that hard, it is
a bit 'scary' thinking about it, if that shot had of contacted someones face/head
area, it could kill him.
I sure wish 'those' staged fights would disappear from our
games, I can tolerate the odd one that breaks out from
raw emotion at the time, but please not those planned ones,
it compares our game to roller derby or wrestling.
And I wouldn't mind if they were totally banned, just look
at how good this tournament is, and how good our playoffs
are, where they don't fight, and control 'themselves' to
do that.
But I guess fighting is a 'crowd draw', and the NHL won't tinker
with that.
Hey #Juan- no need to apologize, I wasn't admonishing you- hope your day improves. I'm also trying to do several things, the most difficult of which is educating one of our resident posters (who doesn't know quite as much as I do.........:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol

well seriously, he has lots of natural talent, great hands,
and a good mind for the game, but he doesn't 'naturally'
have much 'drive', self admitted, and he is so small, and
not very strong, and his skating isn't the greatest, so
he can shine from time to time, but not enough.
