Your tactics are typical of an Israeli apologist. Attack a person's character, label them anti-semitic and a terrorist supporter. I'd like to see you back up any of the statements about me by referencing my posts.
Woul dit shut you up? Or get you to look at what you've posted and said?

Not a bloody chance.

So there's no point eao.

You and I have been down this road many times. You refuse to believe anything posted to you, no matter how factual and how far you can trace the story. Mean while you refuse to acknowledge the several times I have taken apart you links. Exposing the circular fact checking, the inconsistencies, and out right frauds.

But hey, you don't have an agenda and you love Jew's, just not Israeli's.

I share similar opinions and viewpoints as many Israelis and Jews. Are these people also anti-semitic and terrorist supporters?
In a word...yes. But I didn't use that term did I?

You support them by believing every thing that they say, while disbelieving everything Israel says.

You support them by not putting as much time and effort into pointing out and chastising their actions as you do to Israel.

You show your bigotry by doing all the above as well.

Nuff said.

Have a nice hate filled life eao.

Got any proof it was a deliberate act?

Didn't think so...

Israel apologised, and accepted full responsibility. The only confusion here is yours.
Yep I sure can, your post being a prime example of **** and shinola.

CDN Bear

Your posts imply that you served in the Military – Did you, where, when with who - I have – past tense as I am now retired – I have been on a number of tours and have spoken with reliable friends that did the Golan etc tours and the Israelis were not shy about using force to intimidate the UN. You should know that is fact.

The Israeli’s know to the square meter where UN Troops are stationed – Their troops know – They are highly trained – If Hezbollah was using the area outside the compound for firing position, then why target the UN Compound

The attack was deliberate – You have the opinion that because a person may not support Israel that they are on some sort of mission-

Well **** happens and you have a problem understanding that all actions by the Israelis are not legitimate – Now who is biased – You of course.

And yes I can tell the difference between shxt and Shinola. You have a problem accepting criticism – It is the us or them syndrome and you are a classic example.

As to proof – Why does the Israeli Govt fail to cooperate – they are not as innocent as you believe -

Canadian Forces and the rest has been posted before. But I've been in close quarters with the IDF, as well as Syrian and Jordan Forces. I agree that the IDF have a bit of a disdain for the UN. It does occasionally transfer to UN Troops. But it is in no way their habit of targeting, nor harassing with any great animosity, Soldiers of any other Nation. In fact, I found it quite easy to make friends with IDF members.

And as we know, every single round out, lands squarely where we thought it would...

CB, As you correctly pointed out, most of my posts concern Israel. There is a reason and its not due to hatred, or anti-semiticism. I don't hate anyone and that includes you.

I don't post that much criticizing Hamas or Hezbollah, because I already support our government's policy regarding these groups. I fail to see the point of a debate when you agree. Is that even debating?

But I haven't always been on Israel's case as much as I am recently.

During the run up to the 2003 US invasion of Iraq most of my online activity concerned the US, not Israel. I was not active on this forum yet. I was also critical at the time of Israel too, but not as much as I am now. My main focus then was the coming atrocity in Iraq. I predicted 100,000 deaths and a million displaced people. I was underestimated by a factor of 10.

The reason why I'm now focused on Israel is that I'm anticipating an even bigger event. I'm estimating a 5 million deaths, 50 million displaced people, the destruction of Tehran, Damascus, Tel Aviv and Haifa

I hope I'm wrong.

I believe the event is nearly inevitable but still preventable. It depends on decisions made by Israel's government and on ordinary people putting pressure on their governments and Israel to seek a just and fair resolution to the Palestinian problem. If the Palestinians continue to be treated unjustly and oppressed, I predict destruction on a scale that hasn't been seen since WW II.

You believe you are helping Israel. But your defence of their war crimes and crimes against humanity actually contributes to this coming event.

Finally a post that isn't a huge cut and paste and something worthy my respect.

Bullshyte...

I do not condone Israel's blind and blatantly 'over kill' retaliation on targets that even I can see hold no significant objective. They know full well, by the time their munitions hit the very spot the rocket just came from. The perpetrators are gone.

That's just not right, but I've told you this before.

But they share the blame with others eao. You know it, I know it and any one with reasonable cognitive skills knows it.

That's my issue with the posts around here. They're as blind as Israel's targeting.

OK now my BS detector just went off. You avoided Goober's challenge. If you actually did serve with the Canadian military, you would have answered the question differently.

Which part..?

Oh you mean the very leading and traceable info he's asking for?

Ya give yer head a shake eao...

You've never questioned it before, but just because your 'BS-o-meter' went off, lol...

Sgt, 22nd, 3rd Bat. Happy now? Like it's news to you. It's not as if we haven't discussed it over the years there eao. Your questioning now just reeks of spite.

No CB, you said you had a military background and I never challenged you on it. That's not the same as saying I believed you. Nearly every American who has ever posted on the internet claims to be an ex-marine. How likely is that?

Now you've used your alleged military background to boost your credibility.

Goober asked for details and you evaded his question. Now you give a vague refence to one of Canada's most prestigious regiments. I'm even more skeptical now. I'm not saying you are or aren't lying just that I'm skeptical and unconvinced. I'm not sure I'd know enough about Canada's military to tell whether or not you are being truthful. But anyone who has served in the military probably could tell the difference.

Yep, a new low. Nice try though, I don't injure well and I'm not shaken by your juvenile attempt to inflict damage. You think you're the first to call me out?

eao, I know who I am, the other Ex Army types I hang with, out here know who I am. Hell even the management here and the other sites I hang at know who I am. Including an Admin that was a Drop short himself.

You do to eao. Maybe you didn't erase the PM's in which you shared bear videos and pictures and quizzed me about my heritage, service and so on.

Oh ya, that wouldn't help your agenda here, would it. Cuddle up to the Ex Army guy that supports you, try and discredit the one that doesn't...

Wow, when your argument is weak, go for all new lows eh eao. Just like the terrorists you support. Wow, what's next? Going to question my ethnicity when it suits your agenda?

Good on ya mate.

CB: This topic isn't about you or me. I'd like to stay on topic.

Back on topic:

I'd like to know why you don't have a problem with Israel's lack of cooperation with the BOI?

I've tried without success to find a copy of the BOI document on this incident. It was released a year ago, but has been removed from DND's website. This website references the broken link:
DND/CF | News Release | Major Paeta Hess-Von Kruedener Board of Inquiry Released

Can anyone help me find a copy of this document?

The closest I've come to finding a copy is this statement:
Statement by Lieutenant-General Michel Gauthier, Commander Canadian Expeditionary Force Command, convening authority for the Board of Inquiry into the death of Major Paeta Hess-Von Kruedener

DND/CF | Statement | Statement by Lieutenant-General Michel Gauthier, Commander Canadian Expeditionary Force Command, convening authority for the Board of Inquiry into the death of Major Paeta Hess-Von Kruedener

Summary:
Israel admits responsibility but did not name any individual as personally culpable. The UN peacekeepers were planning to evacuate the next morning. Procedures have been improved and communication equipment has been upgraded, reducing the chances of similar incidents occuring in the future.

Also from the above statement:
...On 25 July 2006, Major Hess-Von Kruedener was on duty at Patrol Base Khiam where he was subjected to three waves of bombardment throughout the course of the day. Reports of these attacks were passed to the Israeli Defence Forces by the UN, on the established liaison network, however the attacks did not cease....

...Maj Hess-Von Kruedener carried out his duties with courage and honour, and he died in the service of Canada and the noble pursuit of a better and more peaceful world. His exemplary service has been recognized in the posthumous award of the Meritorious Service Cross. He will not be forgotten....
July 30, 2007

Major Paeta Derek Hess-von Kruedener, M.S.C., C.D. (posthumous)
Kingston, Burlington and Kitchener, Ontario
Meritorious Service Cross (Military Division)

Major Hess-von Kruedener is awarded the Meritorious Service Cross posthumously for his outstanding performance and dedication to duty while serving at a United Nations observation post in the Khiam area of southern Lebanon. When the conflict erupted, Major Hess-von Kruedener knew he could not be evacuated, yet he steadfastly maintained his position while reporting the situation as it presented itself, until his untimely death on July 25, 2006. A Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry officer, Major Hess-Von Kruedener brought great honour to the Canadian Forces and to the military profession.
Governor General announces three Meritorious Service Decorations

Also I found the CBC News video regarding this BOI and their interview of Cynthia Hess-von Kruedener.

UN observer's death investigations - Top Stories - Americas - Video News by MediaScrape

She also made this comment:
She also asked the public to get involved by writing their MPs.
"I know that Paeta would also want the international community to speak up," she said. "I'm only one voice . I definitely need other people to speak out and say something needs to happen."

I also came across this related information:

...An Israeli bombardment killed four United Nations Observers, despite multiple warnings by UN peacekeeper. The peacekeepers at the post said the area within a kilometer of the post was hit with precision munitions, including 17 bombs and 12 artillery shells, four of which directly hit the UN observation post. The fatal strike with a "precision-guided weapon" according to UN military personnel hit the post at about 7.20pm...

The four victims of the attack were:

Lieutenant Colonel Du Zhaoyu (杜照宇), 34, from Jinan, People's Republic of China. He had served as secretary to the military attache in the Chinese Embassy in India. He is survived by his wife and a one-year-old son.[9]

Lieutenant-Commander Jarno Mäkinen, 29, from Kaarina, Finland. Lt Cdr Mäkinen was a former unit commander in the Uusimaa Brigade. He was transferred to the UNTSO in November 2005.[10]

Major Paeta Derek Hess-von Kruedener, a member of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. He had previously served in Cyprus, Bosnia and Congo before serving in UNTSO from October 2005.[11]

Major Hans-Peter Lang, 44, from Styria, Austria.[12] He is survived by an 11-year-old son and his 70-year old mother.

I'm still would like to read the BOI document which released back in February 2008.

I served with the man – he was at one time in charge of Recce Platoon in the 3rd Bn, PPCLI – He walked and talked and took no shxt – One point I do recall is we had a Medic MCpl – Master Corporal – well when he went to the States for the advanced Recce Course – He nor only beat out the US Soldiers but also Soldiers that were in our Bn Recce Pl -
A fine Officer who looked after his men – I was in that unit and I cannot recall if he was at the Ice Strom or not – I was rear party –

Your posts imply that you served in the Military – Did you, where, when with who - I have – past tense as I am now retired – I have been on a number of tours and have spoken with reliable friends that did the Golan etc tours and the Israelis were not shy about using force to intimidate the UN. You should know that is fact.

Point - So where and when did you serve – what type of unit – what trade – how many tours- Fess up son – Lay it out – we are not on a date here so try to drop the coy crap.

Point- Now you are talking utter BS again – It was deliberate – read the accounts of how many times the IDF was informed of this and how many rounds were dropped – Lord love a duck, are you that much of a dumb ass -

The attack was deliberate – You have the opinion that because a person may not support Israel that they are on some sort of mission-

Point – I am not onto dancing, perhaps that is your forte, dancing around facts – and as to how long you can dance, well if you are a poor dancer that just makes more painful for the rest of us to watch. And so far it appears you can only do the 2 step -
As to the IDF having a little disdain for the UN – BS – They do not want the UN their as it does cause problems because the IDF is held to a higher standard in the world than Hezbollah/ Hamas

Thanks. I also read that he was into the outdoors.

I was wondering if I had met him myself during Ice Storm 98 at the fire hall where I volunteered to work as an electrician.

You have my word I won't harass CB provided he answers your questions honestly. Even if he admits to having exaggerated about having served in the Canadian military he gets amnesty as far as I'm concerned.

But if gets caught in a web of lies...

He hasn't responded because he already did previously..........and/or he sees no reason to have to justify himself to you guys.......manners would, after all, demand you accept what he says he is......unless you have some solid evidence to the contrary.
