Lets say the biggest nuke is 50mt. That means in the 50 (?) year span you are jabbering about there has been roughly 11 large nukes detonated - and everyone is fine.

Therefore you are led to believe that if someone were to detonate 100 of them (5,000 Mt) over the course of say 48 hours everything would likewise be fine.

Your math is awesome.

The Tsar Bomba was a 50 megaton blast. The average strategic nuke is about 1/10th of that, so we were 10% of the way to extinction when it went off?
