The Anglican Church, same sex union blessings, homosexual bishops, priestesses.. no surprise they're in favour of murdering children.. in fact they're probably developing some kind of black sacrament to celebrate the event.. chanting and casting spells around the cauldron.

WTF? Texas Police Confiscate 18 Jars Of Feces From Pro-Abortion Protesters Trying To Disrupt Vote On Pro-Life Bill…

Crapping in a jar for use as a weapon… how progressive.

AUSTIN, TEXAS (DPS) - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today received information that individuals planned to use a variety of items or props to disrupt legislative proceedings at the Texas Capitol.

Therefore for safety purposes, DPS recommended to the State Preservation Board that all bags be inspected prior to allowing individuals to enter the Senate gallery, which the State Preservation Board authorized.

During these inspections, DPS officers have thus far discovered one jar suspected to contain urine, 18 jars suspected to contain feces, and three bottles suspected to contain paint. All of these items - as well as significant quantities of feminine hygiene products, glitter and confetti possessed by individuals - were required to be discarded; otherwise those individuals were denied entry into the gallery.

In the interest of the safety and security of Texas legislators and the general public, these inspections will continue until the conclusion of Senate business.

But Cliffy would be the first to complain about religion getting in the way of gubmint.
Ya, so? I am against religion interfering in people's lives through politics. People are entitled to believe whatever they want but should realize that not everybody subscribes to their particular brand of dogma. By pushing their morality on others they are interfering with other people's freedom. That is so anti-democratic but then I don't find your support of such action surprising; you are republican after all.

Is that like republican lite?
Quintin Hogg sums it up this way, "Conservatism is not so much a philosophy as an attitude, a constant force, performing a timeless function in the development of a free society, and corresponding to a deep and permanent requirement of human nature itself."

Texas Senate Passes Contentious Pro-Life Bill as Abortion Protesters Rage Inside State Capitol

AUSTIN, Texas (TheBlaze/AP) — The Texas Senate passed sweeping new abortion restrictions late Friday, sending them to Republican Gov. Rick Perry to sign into law after weeks of protests and rallies that drew thousands of people to the Capitol and made the state the focus of the national abortion debate.

Republicans used their large majority in the Texas Legislature to pass the bill nearly three weeks after a filibuster by Democratic Sen. Wendy Davis and an outburst by abortion-rights activists in the Senate gallery disrupted a deadline vote June 25.

And Hogg was an expert on human nature? lol

Such a balanced and thoughtful bill by outstanding experts and impartial people.

How does this law increase the size of gubmint?

Libertarianism, a small government is a government that has minimized it's activities. So, any activities which interfere in individual matters are by definition an expansion of government. It's a pretty big difference in ideology between conservatives and libertarians.
