Hi fellers! I've got a recipe for you. A great snack for a true man (mean a beer adept). Here we go:
1) simply cut bread. Bread should be made of flour of a rough grinding (it is usualy black) and be squqre in form.BUT no sandwich bread!
2) cut tomatoes in rings and put them on bread
3) lay above some ham
4) cover it with any cheeze. But highly recommended firm low-fat cheese.
5) Put the sandwiches into oven and roast until cheeze melts and crust forms.

Don't forget beer. Any. And not less than a pint.

Black bread?

Ham, the uncleanest of all the meats?

Any type of beer? Even that Coor's lite crap?

I wouldn't die for that, I wouldn't even pay for it. ;)
In biblical days, pork was unclean because people used them to clean up their garbage and feces in their towns. Pigs are no longer used for that purpose and if grown organically by yourself is a very fine meat. A steady diet of deli ham, however, would probably kill you but then so would a steady diet of any deli meat.

Yes, that's a good snack every once in a while but you have to explain to me the ''tashkent'' part. Tashkent is in largely Muslim Uzbek where they don't eat pork or drink beer. So whadda ya mean?

If you substitute rye bread and use corned beef and sour kraut istead of tomato you'd
have a Reubin sandwitch.......Lol

Get a big chunk of bologna throw it into a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of butter and cook on high until browned on one side, Flip over and repeat. This can be eaten by itself or set beside a cooked egg.

Newfy Steak.

The only time you eat bologna is when you are really really hungry. You
eat thick slices of it cold between two slices of white bread with catsup.....Lol

Ketchup on bologna. That's just sick.

Hey, Bologna is disgusting stuff without Ketchup and you have to be starving to eat it. If
you are really hungry, you love it. Once, on a camp job, the cooks put out an eight inch
in diameter piece of bologna about a foot and a half long.....I'm guessing it was ten or
fifteen pounds. There were lots of different things to eat but when the lunch crowd arrived,
that bologna was gone in about twenty minutes. I don't know if anyone had ketchup....;-)

Thick sliced fried Bologna ain't half bad with homemade beans and ketchup...;-)

And don't forget to notch the slice as it tries to "curl" while frying:lol:

Tashkent part is that I unfortunately live there. Uzbekistan is not a Muslim country. Fortunately. Everybody eats pork in here especially the kebabs which are the tastiest when made of swines but no one would confess doing so. Everybody drinks beer in here. Everyone likes good beer but doesn't usually spend money on good brands. Local beers taste like a shampoo water - bitterness + much foam. And nothing even beer-like. That's what I meant.
