Syrians are dancing in the streets .... Assad is the most popular man in the world tonight as the world admires him for standing up to America.

People are asking where were the Russian S-400 missile defense systems because the media is claiming that all missiles which were shot down were shot down by Syria defense forces?

Trump has stock in Raytheon that builds those missiles that he's launching he's making millions on this.

Assad is not the enemy, the US, Britain and France are. The gas attacks were faked as an excuse and the sheeple fall in line screaming for blood. Bunch of brain dead zombies.

Trudeau voices support for strikes on Syria

LIMA, Peru - Canada stood behind its closest allies on Friday as the U.S., Britain and France launched airstrikes against Syria's government in retaliation for a suspected chemical-weapons attack that killed dozens of people.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the strikes in a national address, and promised Washington was prepared to "sustain" pressure on the Syrian government until it stopped killing its own people with banned weapons.
Reporters on the ground in Damascus reported loud explosions and heavy smoke filling the sky over Syria's capital after missiles slammed into what the U.S. claimed were suspected chemical-weapon sites.
Syrian television said the attacks targeted a scientific research centre in Barzeh, near Damascus, and an army depot near Homs.
Shortly after the strikes, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement condemning the use of chemical weapons in eastern Ghouta, where more than 40 people were killed and 500 injured — many of them children — on April 7.
"Canada supports the decision by the United States, the United Kingdom, and France to take action to degrade the Assad regime's ability to launch chemical weapons attacks against its own people," Trudeau said.
Trudeau went on to promise that Canada would "continue to work with our international partners to further investigate the use of chemical weapons in Syria," adding: "Those responsible must be brought to justice."
The prime minister is currently attending the Summit of the Americas in Peru, and was at a reception with U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence shortly before the news broke that the U.S. was preparing to launch strikes.
He had previously ruled out any Canadian involvement in a military strike, though a senior government official said Canada "was in the loop" before the attacks against Syria were launched.
The question of who is responsible for the chemical attack on the rebel-held enclave near Damascus, the second such attack in the past year, has become a central issue.
The Syrian government has denied responsibility for the attack while Russia has suggested Israel or Britain was to blame, the latter to justify increased western intervention into the country.
But Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland told reporters on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas on Friday that Canada laid the blame squarely with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, as well as his Russian and Iranian supporters.
"When it comes to this use of chemical weapons, it is clear to Canada that chemical weapons were used and that they were used by the Assad regime," Freeland said.

Really?

An extremely limited attack on chemical weapons production and storage, in concert with allies, and in response to the repeated use of chemicals on civilians.

There are many, many reasons to despise Donald Trump.

This is not one of them.

Grow up.

A CIA document declassified last year exposed a plot to overthrow the Syrian government by provoking sectarian tensions all the way back in 1986.

Syria: Scenarios of Dramatic Political Change
"Although we judge that fear of reprisals and organizational problems make a second Sunni challenge unlikely, an excessive government reaction to minor outbreaks of Sunni dissidence might trigger large-scale unrest. In most instances the regime would have the resources to crush a Sunni opposition movement, but we believe widespread violence among the populace could stimulate large numbers of Sunni officers and conscripts to desert or munity, setting the stage for civil war." [pg.2]
"Sunnis make up 60 percent of the Syrian officer corps but are concentrated in junior officer ranks; enlisted men are predominantly Sunni conscripts. We believe that a renewal of communal violence between Alawis and Sunnis could inspire Sunnis in the military to turn against the regime." [pg.12]
"Although the Muslim Brotherhood’s suppression drastically reduced armed dissidence, we judge a significant potential still exists for another Sunni opposition movement. In part the Brotherhood’s role was to exploit and orchestrate opposition activity by other organized groups… These groups still exist, and under proper leadership they could coalesce into a large movement… …young professionals who formed the base of support for the militant faction of the Muslim Brotherhood; and remnants of the Brotherhood itself who could become leaders in a new Sunni opposition movement…" [pp.13-14]
"Mistaking the new protests as a resurgence of the Muslim Brotherhood, the government would step up its use of force and launch violent attacks on a broad spectrum of Sunni community leaders as well as on those engaged in protests. Regime efforts to restore order would founder if government violence against protestors inspired broad-based communal violence between Alawis and Sunnis." [pp.19-20]
"A general campaign of Alawi violence against Sunnis might push even moderate Sunnis to join the opposition. Remnants of the Muslim Brotherhood–some returning from exile in Iraq–could provide a core of leadership for the movement. Although the regime has the resources to crush such a venture, we believe brutal attacks on Sunni civilians might prompt large numbers of Sunni officers and conscripts to desert or stage mutinies in support of dissidents, and Iraq might supply them with sufficient weapons to launch a civil war." [pp.20-21]
"In our view, US interests would be best served by a Sunni regime controlled by business-oriented moderates. Business moderates would see a strong need for Western aid and investment to build Syria’s private economy, thus opening the way for stronger ties to Western governments." [pg. 24]

UN charter eh. nuther international 'law' joke, u.s. invades with impunity.
Anyhow a surprise to me as it seems the u.s. even after retaining a mad dog like bolton is loosing its' blood lust, firing a hail of missiles just to kill a couple of syrian citizens seems imprudent.
Sad the days of innocent til proved otherwise are too cumbersome for u.s. military complex ambitions, if they keep trying maybe someday they may win a battle, so far their batting average is nothing to brag about.

I would of thought that if it was thought that Syria was manufacturing or storing illegal chemicals at these facilities which were bombed, then why didn't the U.S. ask the OPCW to inspect the facilities? If anything "Illegal" was found, then the world would have had good reason to bad-mouth Russia since they had guaranteed no illegal chemicals.

But, they did the same thing in Iraq ..... they refused to let the weapon inspectors continue their inspections and then bombed all suspected weapon sites.

OPCW was scheduled to visit Syria today .... but no sense in them going there today to inspect the facilities because they have been bombed. They may be able to inspect the chemical attack site itself, but if nothing is found they will claim that Russia must of cleaned the site up.

How can anyone be certain about any criminal attack like the chemical poisons .. while the battle field is confused and all parties have participated in the war.. each party accusing others ..

and I do not exempt any party, particularly the Zionists of Tel Aviv and their proxy.
Anyone with at least a grade 10 education orbetter would know better than to post such nonsense.

On the other hand your admitted anti-Semitism shows you are too dumb for anything.

Whatever his motive, the attack was long overdue.

Russian military experts are saying that Russia has never-ever fired an S-400 missile defense system during all its time in Syria. (All these past years.) That it is pissing the U.S. off because they are always trying to test it in order to figure out the limits of the technology. All the defense rockets fired at incoming missiles were from 1970 technology with the S-200 or S-300 defense systems owned/manned by the Syrian forces. Not the S-400 systems which are owned/manned by the Russians.

Even the military jet from Israel was shot down with 1970's technology because the Russians gave the Syrians the radar information and the Syrian military just pumped as many S-300 missiles into the air within the vicinity with hopes that it would luck out. And it did. The Syrians acted like as if they were throwing a handful of sand into the air hoping they would strike the Israeli plane.

Very embarrassing to the U.S. military to acknowledge that the greatest military assets (planes and cruise missiles) can be destroyed with 1970's technology.

Furthermore, the military experts are saying that (or posing the question) as to how long do we think it will be before the U.S. returns with another attack .... One, two, three or four weeks? And the answer is the next time that the Jihadists lose another area which they control as what has happened each time before and after losing control of an area, claims of a chemical attack surfaces.

You silly bugger, Torch Light is the only Semitic person on these forums. Most of the Jews in Israel are not Semitic, they are from European.

I sure hope that the Yankees/Brits/French could spare a steathy plane or two to loiter above the battle and collect electronic intel on their antimissile systems tracking and engaging targets.

You may have stumbled on the REAL reason for the raid!

Hi! Curious Cdn

The U.S. is well versed on the S-200's or the S-300's (1970's) which is manned by Syrian forces, but not the S-400 systems which are manned by Russian forces. Since none were used, stealth planes would not of been successful in tracking the new S-400 system.

The U.S. military is losing sleep worrying about the new Russian S-400 system. And the Russians know this.

Well, they just tested it last night, didn't they? Who says none were used? I'll bet that their radars were switched on, at least. If they study the data from that raid, they will learn as much of more about the S-400 than they would have by espionage. It's called "unzipping your fly", you see ........

Cliffy supports Assad using chemical weapons on his own people. That's why he's so upset that we've just destroyed much of his capability to do so.
