The people of the world must in fact recognize each other in order to have a discussion
about anything. How else to you talk to someone if you claim they don't exist. Israel has
stalled this long enough. On the other side the Palestinians have to be realistic about
their objective as neither side is going away. The biggest problem is not Israel though.
The neighboring Arab States do not want progress they want the Palestinians to continue
to be the Victims the Arabs are advocating for. If the problem is solved it would create
more problems for the Arabs than it would for the Israelis. The reason is the world would
look at what the Arabs are doing instead of what Israel is doing. The Arabs do not want
peace with Israel and Palestine that has been demonstrated over and over again

Given that our "progressives" root for the so called Palestinians, does that mean that they are ok with bloody murder rather than, or in lieu of large peaceful protests? Just like the Arab race.
It will come as a shock but the wars are on their land so they are the defenders. If you have to twisty the truth so much before you can accept it are you sure you are drinking the right kool-aid. The 'so called' we talked about quite extensively in UN 181, you are delusional and the verse below is probably one of the bigger reasons for so many promoting lies as the truth. In light of the verse you could classify this place as the synagogue.

Joh:12:42:
Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him;
but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him,
lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

It's pretty easy to see who is keeping the conflict alive if Arabs returning woulod be what keeps it alive for the Arabs. They have been gone for 60 yrears so the perpetyual war must be Israeli inspired.

(in part)
The Israeli minister added that the borders of some countries in the region were artificially drawn by the West.
“Libya was a new creation, a Western creation as a result of World War I. Syria, Iraq, the same — artificial nation-states — and what we see now is a collapse of this Western idea,” he stated.
However, Ya’alon said the borders of some nations, including the Egyptian border with Israel, would remain unchanged.
“We have to distinguish between countries like Egypt, with their history. Egypt will stay Egypt,” said Ya’alon.
The minister did not say whether the borders of Israel, also drawn by Western powers after World War I, would change or not.
Regarding the right to return for Palestinian refugees, Ya’alon said Tel Aviv could not allow such a move, as it would keep the Israeli-Palestinian conflict alive “forever.”
He also said that the insistence to remove Israeli settlers from the West Bank amount to ethnic cleansing.
The Israeli regime expelled more than 700,000 people from their homeland after it occupied Palestine in 1948.
Israeli forces have wiped nearly 500 Palestinian villages and towns off the map, leaving an estimated total of 4.7 million Palestinian refugees hoping for an eventual return to their homeland more than six decades later.
Since 1948, the Israeli regime has denied Palestinian refugees the right of return, despite United Nations’ resolutions and international laws that uphold the people’s right to return to their homeland.
Tel Aviv has built over 120 illegal settlements built since the occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East al-Quds.

PressTV - Middle East borders bound to change: Israel minister

Syria is from the OT so the article even got that part wrong. It is mentioned more than 275 times.

Perhaps the Israeli talking head should do his homework before opening his trap. Perhaps you should have some kind of point before opening your trap, but then that would be called a miracle so I won't be holding my breath.

So the Bible Atlas is a plot to make the current leadership in Israel look bad. Considering when it was printed that is pretty impressive all by itself.

Like we needed another middle east map and bible nut quotes....

Considering the 275 was in the OT you must mean Jewish Bible nutcases, is that who you mean as it was quotes from their most holy book. I'm sure that really endears you to them.

You go ahead and ad-lib Scripture, you fuk up everything else why not take it one step further or did that happen some decades ago in the past when you found a different mentor. (that forbid you the ability to actually think and conclude all by yourself lonesome.

Sal is an independent thinker, if her red stings it is all on you so quit trying to deflect that into something that is false.
As in what I expected at a Canadian BBS and the reality? I agree, had I know the path that was laid out for members such as myself I would have started out a little more forceful than I did.

The 5 or 6 million returnees- they go to Palestine- not Israel.
The borders are mostly agreed upon, approx 96 %.
Land swaps as areas Israel will mot return
Sticking points
Jerusalem - as the capital for Palestinians.

Israel also demands the right to maintain security of the borders with Jordan & Palestine.
Palestine wants a defined period for this.
They do not want another Gaza filled with rocket for attacks.

Palestine to have a police force but no military capability.

Then how are attacks, assuming there are, against Israel addressed by Palestinians.

That said, I do find it difficult to separate the political ideology from the core issue (ie land claims).

People really need to move into the 21st century. Land is nowhere near as important as it once was. All one has to do is look at Singapore to see that land and prosperity are not synonymous.

Not entirely, they have a few relatives that own OPEC. They were willing to fund the place but Israel wanted all the money and they would spread it around, themselves and the Palestinians would get about as much as they do these days.

(Saudi and the other 5 will be coughing up bid once Syria gets them into the UN Court system on the failed war. The Banksters set it up in WWI that the lose pays the costs of the war and reconstruction for both sides. That is why war isn't declared anymore.)

They would be the controlling majority, but only for awhile as Jewish populations would be the majority with the passage of perhaps 100 years but then it would be theirs forever.

The Arabs and Persians have been using the Palestinians for decades.
Let them fund it. I have no issue with that.

I look at the Palestine/Jew situation a bit differently. After a lifetime of reading nearly every legitimate piece of prose about the forever war, and trying to separate the BS from the real meat of the subject, i have decided that i do not like Arabs one bloody bit........so go Jews!
