Republican/Democrat: it is the nature of the beast in politics, that you have to be a hypocrite, crook, liar and greedy to get elected. What did you say you were - 72? Actually I see very little difference between the Republicans and Democrats in the US. They are both parties that have been purchased by the US establishment; in fact some members have been purchased by members of foreign nations. They both seem to be full of liars, hypocrites, and double dealers that will sell their country short for political donations. Small wonder that the US ranks 20th on the world corruption index.

It doesn't.
It is simply hypocritical. In enlightened countries like Canada it is not illicit either. I don't care if he likes boys better than girls. But if he was any kind of a man he would just announce that he is gay and there would be no problem.
As for Wrangel, your link did not say what law he wrote to serve only himself and for it to pass into law there must have been a substantial number of others voted for it.
