114 here in the heat of the day. Wonderful place the desert it's where you can sit on the ground and scald your azz.
They are forecasting 35C here on Friday- seems like summer to me. A.F.A.I.C. 27C is the perfect summer temperature, I don't care for the blistering heat like I used to.
7 day forecast shows pushing upwards of 36 - 40 (Okanagan weather). Supposed to get very hot for a while. Expect multiple forest fire in a week or two. Of course, if you spend the summer with your head up yer butt, you won't notice.
Chilliwack is supposed to be 35 Saturday and 38 Sunday. We're heading there for Sunday for a couple days of camping mid week with the old timers. I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!
I love the heat. Love it. I can't wait until I am too hot to move, to eat, to do anything but watch the leaves flutter in the trees. and maybe waddle, stagger down to the river to a dip.

Nope. Secret campground..well not so secret. It's where the RV'rs go. On the way to chilliwack lake.
Have fun Twila! At 38C I'd just be sticking my lawn chair right in the river and sit there for the duration- 25 years ago I'd have done the same thing with a cold box of beer.
28C in Vernon at 3 PM. That's plenty!
It was a cold rain here on Juneuary 22 arround twelve couple of inches of rain the last two days.
Well, we had quite the rainstorm last night. Lightning and lots and lots of thunder. I know this not because the thunder woke me up but because the dog woke me up.
And by woke me up I mean he decided to climb me like a cat climbing a curtain, do a half-gainer off my face, run down the hall and then come back and do it all again.
At 2 a.m.
Apparently the little guy gets quite agitated during thunderstorms.
So anyway.......
