This is nothing new. Things change with new leadership. It's like when Scott Brison and Balinda Stronach suddenly reversed their opinions 180 degrees as soon as they crossed the floor.

Also, defeated parties are not obligated to stick to promises and platforms that the electorate rejected.

All the hoping it's f-ckin whitie is going to come crashing down. Then what?
Why would you want it to be "f-ckin whitie"?

Support from Cons? Why wouldn't they encouage a Lib failure in he making?
Yeah, Cons would love to see a waste of taxpayer money.

So you are upset she is supporting an inquiry? This was Justine's position before he came into government wasn't it? I know you were all on Harper for not having one. You should be ecstatic that now Justine can have one now that he is in power. The support of the opposition leader should be making you happy. Or could it be that when Justine does not have the inquiry, now he will look like a hypocrite?

(And as an NDP supporter shouldn't that also be making you happy?)
Well, it really is not about missing women, you know. Or at least not here at CC. Here it is about Con vs. Gliberal (kind of like most everything else here).

Yes we do seem to polarize. While I am surprised by the change of heart, I think it a good strategy by the Tories. I am also of the belief it won't find anything that the other ones won't have found. But what's a couple of million dollars anyways?

And just to be clear, I am 100% on the "Tastes Great" side of the debate. "Less Filling" is for losers.

I support the inquiry no doubt about it and it may turn up these women knew the offender
It may not or it may be a mixture with no connection to each other. Rona is not going to be
in front of the press in the beginning until she gets her feet under her fair enough.
When you are cleaning up a mess combined with instability in an organization that was
created by someone else takes a while and serious planning directions,
I spent a year and a little more just cleaning up the mess left behind in our provincial farm
association. It is a long and thankless pursuit in many cases with criticism from everywhere,
Perhaps she will turn out to be a progressive instead of shill negative voices that are against
everything of mock everything.
Some conservatives are respectfully critical and that is good then there are others who mock
every change and people get turned off, ask Harper how that works.
For those pointing out Justin didn't get 50% or more of the vote. A simple answer, the Tories
got a little over thirty percent which means 70% or so voted for CHANGE and the progressives
while critical can support progress instead of the long shadow of negativity that hung around
until October 20th She is trying to clean up a mess and I hope she does it we need alternate
voices we just don't need the Reform wing coming back

Rona supports the inquiry. So not sure how you are ragging her for not. Second, I heard the same crap about Harper for the prior 4 years from leftoids (whining about the 60% who voted non-PC). It is equally invalid. Harper has the same mandate that Trudeau has now. End of story.

Rona will lead the conservative differently then Harper? Why is this a surprise to anyone?
