Backwater, Ontario.
Lynette, (Squeaky) Fromme, a member of Charles Mansons' "family" was released from prison.

She was serving life (or served it, I guess) for the attempted assassination of then president Gerald Ford.

Really good to know there's a member of Chuckys' family amongst us; that is, unless your name is Tate, Polanski, Sebring, Frykowski, or Folger. Their heirs might object.

34 years passes all too quickly when it comes to slime like her.

8O I thought the US locked em up and threw away the key!!! Dang!!!

Would you want her to have a gun after thirty four years in jail?

I have no idea what her looks have to do with her personality, but no, in the cases of people like her, life should mean life.

Guess "Life" sentence doesn't mean to much anymore.

Sentenced to Life in Prison:
As was the Manson way, Fromme represented herself at her trial but refused to present testimony that was relevant to the case and instead used it as a platform to speak about the environment.
Judge Thomas McBride ultimately removed her from the courtroom. At the end of the trial, Fromme hurled an apple at U.S. Attorney Dwayne Keyes head because he had not turned over exculpatory evidence. Lynette Fromme was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.
A Less Than Model Prisoner:
Fromme's prison days have not been without incident. At a prison in Pleasanton California, it was reported that she brought the claw end of a hammer down on the head of Julienne Busic, a Croatian Nationalist who was imprisoned for her involvement in a 1976 airline hijacking. In December 1987, she escaped from prison in order to see Manson who she heard was dying of cancer. She was quickly caught and returned to prison.

Was she involved in any murders?

She pointed a .45 at Ford and pulled the trigger. Earlier she had extracted a chambered round from the pistol, so it had a full clip, but none up the spout.

El Fordo would have been bye bye if there had been a round in the chamber, as the SS were only able to grab her AFTER she pulled the trigger.

Or, at least that's the way if was reported. Supposedly, she knew the gun was unable to fire.

Is that what she spent 30 years in prison for? Pretending to fire a gun?

Nope, she was loyal to the "end". And now she's "out".

8O

However if she was one of the other of Charlies Angels ( ) I am sure she would still be in. Those women will never see the light of day.

I wonder what she will do?

I'm trying to get one. Give me a clue. How many people did she kill?

That's not the question, the question is how many will she kill now? Or in this case, how many will she influence to kill? I expect she will look to make some sort of celebrity of herself and make some change off herself then croak.

The parole board would've looked at those questions too.

It doesn't look like she intended to kill Ford. (Unloaded gun). 34 years have passed. For all we know she could be a very different person now.

Oh, okay, here we go:

Yep, 34 years in the slammer makes you a better............killer, criminal, thief, whatever.

Parole board is a non starter. She served her time, and left.

She was associated with a murderous bunch of loonies. She was the ONLY one in the "family" not to turn on Chuckie in order to obtain a better deal for herself.

She SAID she had ejected a shell in her room on purpose, so that the gun wouldn't fire.

I guess the jury chose to believe that she probably jacked one out, thinking that a new one would be in the chamber. When you work the slide, that's usually what happens.......(just to be sure), and found, when she pulled the trigger, the chamber was empty. Whooooooooooonose.

Now, if you had been in their position (jury), you would have given her the benefit of the doubt????? I say again; come on.

So the charge was attempt murder 1 or treason, or whatever. She got life and did it, apparently.

You would have said she was just practising and let her walk??

Ah, Kreskin, yer too smart a man fer that sort of naivite. Yer just pullin my chain.

And; Charles Manson never killed anyone either. He should have walked, right?

You're messing with me, so this discussion is fini, ok. You win.
