Liz Cheney takes on 'radical' White House

President Obama has finally caused the beginning of the end for the Democrats. To many wimps running the show today.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney’s eldest daughter Liz will launch a new group aimed at rallying opposition to the “radical” foreign policy of the Obama administration which it says has succeeded only in undermining the nation’s security.
The new group, Keep America Safe, will make the case against President Barack Obama’s moves to wrench America away from Bush era foreign policy on issues from detaining alleged terrorists at Guantanamo Bay to building a missile shield in Eastern Europe.
“The policies being proposed by the Obama administration are so radical across the board,” Cheney said. “Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, you want the nation to be strong and so many steps this president is taking are making the nation weaker.”

Isnt the Mayan calendar supposed to end in this time period and by default the world along with it,kinda renders a lot of worrying about the future a moot point;-)

How in hell could the U.S. be weaker? You already spend a thousand times as much on arms as any other country in the world. The only way the U.S. could be weaker is if the senior officer ranks are all stupid.

How in hell could the U.S. be weaker? You already spend a thousand times as much on arms as any other country in the world. The only way the U.S. could be weaker is if the senior officer ranks are all stupid.

That is not enough for the military industrial complex, juan. To them, no amount of money spent on defense is enough. And conservatives, who want to cut spending in every other area (of course they only talk about it, when they are in power, they actually increase the spending, like Bush or Harper, cut taxes and borrow money to pay for everything), want to increase defense spending, practically without limit.

Now this group that Cheney’s daughter is putting together, it wouldn’t surprise me if it wants a massive arms build up. After all, massive arms build up supposedly worked against USSR, why shouldn’t it work against Islamic terrorists?

The army as they say is always fighting the last war, you do what works in your mind. A big reason why the world wants to dump the US dollar, they have suddenly fallen behind the times. Out with the old, in with the new.
