No Police problems in the US eh- How many Officers does it take to restraing a 9 year old child- sprayed her while she in in the car - that is abuse - fire the one who ordered it, the one who sprayed her, and the senior officer in charge/on scene demoted to meter man
Rochester has a long problem with policing

Under the new AG, TBC, Garland, will see more Police Depts under direct supervision.
How many should respond to a murder suicide call?

5 Police Officers Killed By Snipers At Scene Of Dallas BLM Protest

Before dying, the police chief said, the suspect declared to officers that he was upset about recent shootings and wanted to kill whites, “especially white officers.”

So witty- slow witty, but witty- guess that type of low brow wit, rebuttal is what constitutes thinking on your part
Sure, if you ignore the evidence presented and just look at the stuff a loser would look at...

They detained her at the Mothers request after she threatened to kill her mom and herself

The Mayor also let her down even though she threw the cops under the bus from your article

Why weren't they called in to a domestic case knowing it was about a minor?

Pepper spray was a step to far, but what should they have done Serryah? If they just manhandled her into the car it still woulda been seen as abuse. Where was the father? I'm sure he was contacted by the mother before the police arrived

It was a failure all around from the parents up

I agree it was a failure from the parents up.

But in the end, pepper spraying a NINE year old is too far. She's NINE, already handcuffed. Grab her ankles, put them in the car and close the door. It didn't need 'manhandling' either. There were enough cops there that one could have gone into one side, pulled her in, the other close the door then cop one backs out by the time she sits up. Or as I said, grab her ankles and place them in the car. There were lots of other ways to handle the situation than pepper spray.

Much as it was a failure of many, it's situations like this - overboard situations - that call for changes to the police force. And while apparently Rochester does have a response team for situations like this, there isn't a protocol yet in place for them so they weren't sent. Considering the lack of qualifications from the police, IMO send the response team anyway; they couldn't do any worse.

While I don't entirely disagree with that, I suspect no matter what, the cops were going to get it on this news item one way or another.

Fortunately few care about your opinion as you have shown yourself to always think the opposite of what the evidence says.
;)

Not to mention the liar bit you are famous for.

It was set up for over a week it failed in it's first test, hopefully they will get it right for the next murder suicide call
