They were settlers moron!!

Yes, some were settlers, but they all migrated here from somewhere else, idiot.

Having a little trouble accepting facts as they are, are you?

look in the mirror, that would be the one having trouble.

I don't give a sht where you come from, but leave your useless baggage behind and when you get here your expected to carry your fair share of the weight, if you can't, then you better leave. Don't come here and expect to live of the hard work and risk others take only so you can live here at the expense of others!!

Suck it up losers!!

You're the one that has the useless baggage. I think that you and yours so should haul your uneducated, lazy, useless asses back to where you came from.

Here is how immigration works today (and even for refugees)!!

1) an immigrant comes to Canada (let's say my house), bring nothing with them, no roads, schools, laws, etc all those things that took years and tax$ to build

2) when they get here, let's say to my house called Canada, they unpack their bags and say, ok this is mine as well now, all I have to do is pay my share of the utilities!!

Not a bad deal, is it!!

Here's how immigration works, Dummy. If you come here from another country with the intent to stay indefinitely, you are an immigrant. Unless you came before World War II and are not a white Christian. In such a case, in Dummyworld you don't exist.

You are the American Blackleaf.

Your doing a lot of silly babbling but you don't have anything constructive to say regarding my posts.

It's because you know I'm right but you don't like me speaking about immigration the way it really is because it makes you feel uncomfortable. Mainly because your a loser and you can't think objectively. Dumbo I guess!!

If you measure the international aid given to the various needy countries against the horror and destruction of war given to these same needy countries you will quickly see what bu **** international aid has actually been.
If we stopped the wars we would stop the refugee problem. Opening the gates is not a solution. There is already North American refugees in need and soon there will be many millions more to contend.

PROOF! Illegal Alien Invasion Was Planned In January 2014!

quit breakin' threads with that sh!t man.

We'll of course I'm right otherwise you would have told me where I'm wrong!!

Here is another issue you can chew on.
Under the present immigration policy a man and his wife can immigrate to Canada even at 65 years of age.
They can come here and retire when they get here. There is nothing to prevent this from happening presently.

They are entitled to have 100% of their health care paid for as soon as they become citizens.
They are entitled to welfare like anybody else.
If they need hospital care, say knee surgery, they will get EXACTLY the same service the guy worked here all his life and paid taxes here all his, he will get NO extra service for this.

They will also be fully entitled to get into a ling term care facility fully paid by Canadians.

Final note, do you know that in Toronto, 60% of the seniors are immigrants and the general population is made up of only about 22% immigrants..
In Vancouver it's something like 50% are immigrants.

Does this tell you anything????

I'd say it's a pretty good deal ...eh!!

Refugees worry me. Seems to me when one enters a country with a chip on the shoulder, that chip spreads. I feel for them. If there's a chance trouble in their own homes may come to a conclusion, I feel they'd be happier closer to home. There are more than enough angry people in Canada now.
