Ok, I can use your argument this way then. Let's say the car was perfect; no flaws, its designed to run perfectly without any breakdown. I take the car, and I let it run until its out gas, the oil hasn't been changed, etc., etc.. The car doesn't run anymore because its out of gas and I haven't maintained it. Are you going to the Car Maker to tell Him, " see, what have you created? my car doesn't run anymore! It's flawed."
Sure. Serves the manufacturer right for not including an owner's handbook with lucid and concise directions for maintaining the car.
Think about the point I'm trying to make to you. It's not about flaws. It's about not running things properly.
Exactly. I've seen some awfully lousy management.
SIN is willful separation from God, for whatever reason; because you don't believe He exists, because you're angry at Him (probably through some misunderstanding), because you enjoy your independence from God, whatever.
So if one disobeys unintentionally, then one is off the hook. I see.
I suspect it's because you enjoy your independence from God. It drives you to accuse Him of being evil and to have nothing to do with an 'evil' God. God created man perfect, but man became flawed because of the SIN choice that was made. That choice was independence from God, to be YOUR OWN GOD so to speak.
And who was the moron that designed things that way? Or is it claiming ignorance? But, that can't be an excuse because this god knows everything; even the future, right? The ultimate responsibility is the manufacturer for the performance of its product. It wasn't the product that installed the defective part, it was the manufacturer.
If I knew that I would install a defective part, and what would happen eventually sometime later, and did nothing about it, does that mean I am devoid of guilt?
By saying 'well if creation is not perfect, it means God does not exist because God is perfect and He wouldn't create something that's flawed' is absolutely absurd.
I never said gods exist or not. I'm agnostic, not atheist. My point is that gods may have caused things to come to being like Earth, for instance, but if they did, they got bored with it and are now ignoring it. I also never said gods were perfect. I am saying that since people claim gods are perfect, then why have they messed up so bad?
