How is that any different from Israel's policy of not accepting any peace agreements and continuing to displace Palestinians and build in occupied lands?

Maybe it's not that different. Like I said, Israel does some gruesome things as well.

The only way to truly unwrap this whole thing, I think, is to try and completely distance yourself from any emotional ties to either side - if they do exist.

We have to ask questions like:

1.) Who is really starting s hit?
2.) How much injury is each party doling out?
3.) How much militant power does one party have over the other?

And we have to continue to try and come up with creative, peaceful resolutions to the problem. These threads are filled with too much vitriol and it constantly throws the conversation off track.

When Israel is the bad guy, they're the bad guy, sure.

But you really think there's nothing gruesome about that charter? I mean, the whole "jihad, no compromise" bit pretty much speaks for itself, doesn't it?

On these threads they attract the Jew Haters - Some try and hide it - this Abf - does not - then you have EAO - poor boy - He supports both Hamas - Hezbollah - hit him with facts and hard questions and off he runs to return with cut and paste - - always avoiding the direct question - and knowing him we make the questions quite easy - why even a fellow like myself with a grade 9 education find him to be of no challenge - Mind you that is PEI Grade 9 - Harder in the Maritimes EH

In EAOs defense, from what I've seen - he at least tries to logically layout his position and is civil about it.

BBC News | MIDDLE EAST | Israel admits torture

TWENTY YEARS AGO????? That is the BEST you can do?????

And you should read your own posts, because they include this:

Two years after the report was written, the Supreme Court banned the use of physical force in interrogations, even within the limits set by the Landau Commission.

I say it again: Israel does NOTuse torture.

Settlers continue to build in the West Bank, that's one blatant hindrance of any peace process.

Now, gee whiz, you got one thing right......it is about time.

(sound of applause)

The crowd goes wild. :)

It's very different. Israel doesn't have a written policy of genocide.

The only way to truly unwrap this whole thing, I think, is to try and completely distance yourself from any emotional ties to either side - if they do exist.
That's why I like facts.
We have to ask questions like:

1.) Who is really starting s hit?
Both sides and interlopers.

2.) How much injury is each party doling out?
Irrelevant.

3.) How much militant power does one party have over the other?
Irrelevant.

And we have to continue to try and come up with creative, peaceful resolutions to the problem.
I agree, but you have to stop throwing commonsense and critical thought out the window, in the process.

These threads are filled with too much vitriol and it constantly throws the conversation off track.
You forgot to mention obfuscation, unethical post manipulation, and refusing to answer questions.

You talk about finding a peaceful solution. How is avoiding answering questions a step toward a peaceful solution? Healthy debate?

Ya, I've seen your sycophantic praise of EAO before. To bad EAO's steadfast ignorance of fact (akin to abtfet's), dismissal of evidence because of the source, lack of actual logic and complete disregard for history.

Makes EAo one of the worst posters on the subject.

Goober can't really face the facts...
Says the usual suspect that denies, dismisses and avoids fact like the plague.

There are by outs and evictions still going on in Jerusalem.
Can you provide a written document from Israeli parliament, that outlines a policy that reflects the claim?

Hahahahahahahahahahaha. You can find torture cases every year.
No, you can find accusations.

Do you have any case law. Read 'facts' to support your claim?

I would love to have a grip on you - then we would see who is crying.

Look at this idiot actually makes threats to me now, LOL

Goes without saying but this is your typical pro-Israeli , very dense and cannot formulate proper arguments.

True - |But when you dig a tad - ask questions - like I mentioned earlier -He is different than this other ass - he does try to defend - but fails time and time again.

As you wander different threads you will find those that are here to discuss and learn - yes it includes sharp words as well - but that in itself is the nature of forums - Yes I am guilty - I cannot stand EAO. And I will not go into why.

Do you even follow the Israel-Palestine issue?? Israeli's have used torture and this isn't even disputable.
I just posted a link where they've admitted it using it in the past.
WE know Israel has lied (the white phosphorous incident for example) so they have no credibility if they say today that they do not use it. Especially when there is an overwhelming amount of claims and evidence against them .

I keep seeing you cry about this.

If it bothers you so much, why do you keep doing it?

I agree, it doesn't promote healthy debate, so please stop.

I have no problems letting go slander from a guy who posts praise then edits his post to distain about an hour later.

Like I said, you'll never be able to back that one down. Everytime you make an ad hominem attack, I'll gleefully remind you of the truth.
