We'll honor the Canadians who died on 9/11 every year for you. Feel free to forget your fellow Canadians... we'll remember them for you.
Carry on about your business now.

Thank God for true patriotism.

How much longer are we going to suffer watching America whine and play the innocent on Sept 11 every year? While the attack itself was horrifying and we all felt bad about the loss of life, enough already. Everybody but Americans recognized at the time that American foreign policy caused the attack. While nobody "deserves" to die, Americans are no more special and deserving of life than any one of the thousands of men, women and children who have died in the Third World because of US foreign policy. Even in 2001, America had to twist arms and use legal arguments and bribes to get allies to back it against Afghanistan. The US is the world bully and nobody is sympathetic.
Why does the US create this annual drama? Americans learned between1942 and 1945 that war was big business that made them very wealthy. Ever since then the United States has been addicted to its war economy. The same government expenditures in more peaceful pursuits would maintain the same or a similar economy, but different people would get rich.
After the Berlin Wall fell the US military budget increased while the rest of the world lowered spending. Why? Because the bully now saw its major adversary on its knees and the opportunity was there to run amok. Little did we know that Russia was protecting us more than America. War is big business – invest your children, Americans. After all, the value to thee conomy of your children is nothing compared to the comfort of the Romneys,McCains, and Kennedys and Obamas.
Thank God our home is Canada.

Please don't. As a general rule people here don't get honoured for the mere act of going to work in the morning. You might wish to focus more attention on all the CEO's who weren't at work when the planes hit. Tell you what, if you feel so strongly about honouring people how about providing them with health care instead. Try doing it for all Americans and see how that works out for y'all.
BTW, does it ever occur to y'all that when you post on a Cdn site it might be polite to leave your marine corp icon at home? The US Marines are not generally respected here and the image to many is of the random killing of women and children. Or deliberate in the case of snipers. Just a thought.

Yep. So it's all good.Everybody but Americans recognized at the time that American foreign policy caused the attack.
I'd say they deserved to die for that very reason. While nobody "deserves" to die, Americans are no more special and deserving of life than any one of the thousands of men, women and children who have died in the Third World because of US foreign policy.
So, you felt bad, but you're not sympathetic. No inconsistency there.Even in 2001, America had to twist arms and use legal arguments and bribes to get allies to back it against Afghanistan. The US is the world bully and nobody is sympathetic.
Because many of us lost friends and relatives. Why does the US create this annual drama?
Yep, so we deserved it. What goes around comes around.Americans learned between1942 and 1945 that war was big business that made them very wealthy. Ever since then the United States has been addicted to its war economy. The same government expenditures in more peaceful pursuits would maintain the same or a similar economy, but different people would get rich.
We briefly had a "peace dividend," but then we got back on the power trip. After the Berlin Wall fell the US military budget increased while the rest of the world lowered spending.
Like Britain after the Napoleonic Wars. Why? Because the bully now saw its major adversary on its knees and the opportunity was there to run amok.
Life ain't worth much hereabouts.Little did we know that Russia was protecting us more than America. War is big business – invest your children, Americans. After all, the value to thee conomy of your children is nothing compared to the comfort of the Romneys,McCains, and Kennedys and Obamas.
Thank your sky daddy Putin will protect you.Thank God our home is Canada.
Is my Nightmare Moon OK? I ask because it's an American cartoon. Wouldn't want to offend any Canadian sensibilities.BTW, does it ever occur to y'all that when you post on a Cdn site it might be polite to leave your marine corp icon at home? But they were legitimate targets, so what's the big deal?
Yep. So it's all good.
I'd say they deserved to die for that very reason.

What's it called when someone has an intense bigotry directed at a nation or national identity?
Whatever that's called - you're the biggest one I have ever come across.
I don't think that we live in, or share the same Canada as a home
Please don't. As a general rule people here don't get honoured for the mere act of going to work in the morning.
What a dumb statement. You might wish to focus more attention on all the CEO's who weren't at work when the planes hit.
Like who?Tell you what, if you feel so strongly about honouring people how about providing them with health care instead? Try doing it for all Americans and see how that works out for y'all.
Heck no!BTW, does it ever occur to y'all that when you post on a Cdn site it might be polite to leave your marine corp icon at home?
What do you know about this forum? You've been here a couple of weeks. I'll be posting here long after you're gone. The US Marines are not generally respected here
Don't forget the elderly... we like to kill them too!and the image to many is of the random killing of women and children. Or deliberate in the case of snipers. Just a thought.

Intense bigotry? My criticisms are not directed at individuals and are backed up with examples of why I feel such political fear and disrespect for the United States today.
Canadians like to think of themselves as "polite". In terms of keeping to a political agenda without calling individuals names my posts maintain a proper level of politeness. People who are unwilling to participate wholeheartedly in political debate without devolving into personal attack lack should stay away. That's what the rules say, anyway.

Want another example of immaturity? Posting a photo of a guy with a rifle. It says nothing positive. It adds absolutely nothing to the topic. It means nothing in the context of the politics under discussion. It is just one more example of the American gun fetish. Not hard to tell who is Canadian here.
Mister tober,
I'll speak first in my black voice. Green is for when some people become a real nuisance or I'm feeling grouchy, like when my ingrown toenail acts-up and I stub the fukker. I rarely use purple. The common sense force is still strong with you I think.
While we appreciate your participation on the site, be advised that there have been and always will be, Americans of various stripes as members in good standing here. We also have several members who are not very fond of our cousins. That's ok too.
But if you choose to be all edgy and stuff, and pick a fight, then be prepared to defend against the fallout or simply don't bother.
Besmirching an entire nation might be considered...well, provocative.
Look, I can identify brother...I hate a lot of sh!t from the states. They gave us orange tan selfies, douchebag celebrities, weak beer and bad television. I feel your pain. I really do. And they deep fry everything.
But let's face it, if we were really up against it, the United States would be the first (and best) ally to come to our side. They likely provide more emergency global aid and assistance than any nation. Always first there. Nobody has to ask. Kinda like a good neighbour, a best friend. They probably don't send earthquake, flood or other natural disaster victims an invoice for their troubles.
But hey, you're free to post. Just don't expect us to police the responses, whether you report them or not.

The whole idea of his photo was to get a rise out of you... and it worked.. tool.

Intense bigotry? My criticisms are not directed at individuals and are backed up with examples of why I feel such political fear and disrespect for the United States today. Your comments, OTOH, are personal. One suspects that you either do not read what I write, are unable of comprehending it, and in any event are disinterested in following site rules. No doubt if I were to change the reference to America in each case to a reference to Nazi Germany it wouldn't bother you. Or would it? In any event a bit of careful thought and study would show you that my belief that America is politically definable as fascist and the most dangerous threat to world peace today is clearly defensible. Is that okay with you? Serious question.
Second serious question, do you always personally insult those with whom you disagree politically?

More 9/11 crap. Yawn
