Thanks for the support, JLM.

However, it's YukonJack, NOT Y.J. Are you that lazy, or just that disrespectful?

Some would say you reap the seeds you sow. Your description of union workers is lower than disrespectful, it's hateful. You're just a hateful bitter old cad Jack. I'd refer to you as YJ too, but I wouldn't want to offend any fanatic Jeep owners.

How many years have you been a Union worker Ton? What did they do for you?

Disrespectful????????????? I just elevated you into the realm of D.D.E. and R.W.R. (dare not mention J.F.K. and F.D.R.)

What is the difference between this YukonJack or this YukonJack????
The second one took a lot more work;-)

We old codgers tend to be a little grumpy in the morning so that is probably the case with Y.J. er I mean Yuuuuuuuuuuukon Jack.
P.S. I wonder how you can disrespect a Nom de plume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Typical unionist reply: No substance, just personal attack. I guess the anonymity of the internet gives you the same kind of gutless feeling of security and inflated self-importance that the unions must have given you for your dues.

I'm not unionized. But I'm well versed enough to know that Jack's retarded rant that paints everyone with a wide brush, is retarded.

Again, for the mouth breathing retard, I'm not unionized.

Really funny coming from an anonymous poster who gets his pansy little feelings hurt when someone doesn't type out his user name.

You're hilarious!

Is everything OK in Toningtonland? You seem far more aggressive then normal.

Everything's fine, but I have a new blend of coffee. Espresso blend, far more bold. That could be the difference.

You denigrate Y.J. for hatefulness yet you generate a lot of it yourself. I was a Union member for 25 years (not by choice) so I can appreciate the truth of which he speaks. In that time the only ones I saw them benefit was the drones and the parasites. I'll bet if you had to work side by side with Y.J. during his working life you'd be the one looking like a pansy.

I never cease to wonder why it is so hard for some people to address another poster with the nome de plume they have chosen to represent themselves with on a public forum?

Would you address Prime Minister Harper: Hey, Steve!? Or SH?
Would you address Queen Elizabeth: Hey, Liz!? Or QE2?

And so on.

The point being that if you have enough respect (or disrespect) for a fellow poster to answer or respond, why is it so hard to say so with your keyboard.

Nothing grumpy, but everything decent about that. But that is just my opinion.

According to YJ, that makes you the lowest form of miserable life. Maybe he's right, I'll let you handle it from here. I have friends back in NS who are union workers. They are animal technicians at the school I graduated from, and they are nothing like the descriptors used in YJ's useless rant.

Simplification. Rarely do people call me CDNBear. CDN, Canadian, Bear, CB, CD, even Asshole, all ok by me.

Would you address Prime Minister Harper: Hey, Steve!? Or SH?
I'm one of those silly people that doesn't think a title makes you any more or less important or distinguished than anyone else. So, ya, I would call him Steve, or sir. But I address my sons with sir as well.
Would you address Queen Elizabeth: Hey, Liz!? Or QE2?
Elizabeth would be fine, or ma'am.

Who cares.

True.

Well, Tonnigton, the ones who started with the "lowest form of life" were Jack London and the punk who quoted him.

I just voiced my dissenting opinion, based on my own life experiences.

I would be happy to hear from your friends who are animal technicians; their response, just like yours, written by those animals.

Likewise. I'll keep in mind from now on that broad sweeping statements from you refer to the narrow sphere of your life experiences.

I think both Liz and Steve have enough character that it would roll off them like water off a duck's back!

Careful, Ton, here with have an immigrant who came to this country at a young age who couldn't speak English and worked his way up at many labouring jobs to retire relatively weathy..............is your sphere of life's experiences any broader than that?

Perhaps, JLM.

I have to admire you for your choice of a handle on this forum. You must have seen that "JLM" is about as short as it can get, so you made yourself immune to punks who are too lazy to call a person by his/her name

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?

Honestly, I don't really care what his experiences are. I doubt very much that you are the lowest form of life. I've worked in those animal laboratories with my friends well past the hours of normal work. For my thesis, I was at school from 7am to 4am on some of my sampling days. Spent all night analyzing the blood I collected from my fish. Those apparently worthless unionized animal techs stayed until 11 pm. Even my Professor stayed that late.

Anyways, maybe I'm just more careful with caveats than I am with the spelling some online jerk's user name.

It's okay. Yukon Jack mised out on the history of labour in Canada and what it was like before men and women got sick and tired of working for nothing and being beaten or shot.

It was also unionized labour that ended the Soviet Union but lets just ignore that too.
