it's so easy to make...takes five minutes to mix it up, five to clean the cauliflower and five to drain it...throw it into the oven...done

I had a bit of a job finding a small enough cauliflower. Normally it is just the two of us and the normal cauliflower is too large.. I eventually found some small ones and half the recipe works fine.

can't wait to try this. My daughter really likes smashed cauliflower (made like mashed potatoes but with cauliflower) I love cauliflower and it's nice to have recipes that don't boiling it and covering it with cheese sauce (nice, but tiring after so many years...)

Twila I too like cauliflower but need to avoid the cheese sauce as it can't be put on cauliflower every time I eat it...how do you smash it up....

they stink way more when they're overcooked. love brussels sprouts too, but overcooked? well, then it's a bit like oral sex: once ya get past the smell ya got 'er licked!

I own a refridgerator in which I regularly keep sections of cauliflower hacked from larger specimins for as much as three weeks with no sign of deterioration whatever, not five hours ago just such a chunk of the veggy in question was simmered, by me, on a gas stove, to perfection that butter and salt alone could enhance. My quack tells me I shouldn't eat them cruciferous things, he nows nothing. So if you got a fridge your purchase problems of theses tasty's wou;ld be solved.
