Hey Walter - if Santorum survives all the hate filled vitriol the Republicans are spewing at him he just might be a successful candidate.
Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, and Rick Perry all claimed God told them to run for the presidency. I guess he must have change his mind.

If Mr. Santorum has a relationship with God which he leans on daily, that is "his truth"! Remember!? Why do you feel you need to take a shower? You should accept and be happy for him.

You haven't seen the studies? Prayers don't get answered, they achieve nothing but give the person praying the illusion of doing something useful.
You haven't heard any of the millions of testimonies of Christians who have received supernatural healing, freedom from poverty, freedom from their past, answers to questions only God can know, or their families coming to know God etc. through prayer?
Look at how many times God answered prayers in the bible. He hasn't changed, and it would be silly to suggest that an omniscient God has changed at all because he has no need to.
No, this man only has a relationship with his ego. He is about as sincere as a wood chip. He is just sucking in the suckers with his god stuff but he is not a christian not does he believe in anything but the almighty dollar and power. I need a shower because I felt slimed.
It depends on what you mean by conservative. If you mean a Bush-style conservative who is long on talk about social values, pork barreling to pet NGOs, big on foreign interventions like Iraq, fond of getting rid of regulatory and oversight bodies that lead to things like the economic meltdown and the BP blowout in the Gulf (thanks to no compliance inspections) and willing to implement TARP style bail-outs when Wall Street cries for them, then I disagree... but I know I am at odds with most hard line Republicans.

Yeah I've heard of them. Testimonials aren't evidence, not one of them is properly documented or survives even cursory skeptical scrutiny, and there's always a simpler explanation. Following David Hume's argument, which would you consider more likely, that the laws of nature have been suspended on your behalf or that you're mistaken?
