That is hopeful. When the situation is dire that is not the time to dig in your heels, compromise is usually required.

God already judged you the instant you judged somebody else and to top it all off you have renedered unto Caesar what isn't Caesar's. Your heart, mind and soul. What do we hear some liberals/leftists say today? Homosexuality should be celebrated, grumblings that pedophilia should be considered a sexual orientation (normalization), there's nothing wrong with abortion (child-sacrifice), no harm serving any "god" (idolatry), do what you want (hedonism/unrestricted lifestyle).
See what I mean?! Warning! Warning! We're bringing God's judgment upon us!

It is hopeful, SLM........after the bitter acrimony that marked much of the election, it is really good to read that the parties are showing signs of bi-partisanship.
The status quo is acceptable.I don't believe they have any other choice other than find common ground.

Do you Canadians know what mirror imaging is? That's what you're doing now. You are analyzing a cohort of the American people based on the assumption that they think like Canadians and that the things that resonate with Canadians resonates with American conservatives.

I'll make note of asking He go easy on your doomed Soul when I'm asking for forgivness of my own sins.
I don't believe they have any other choice other than find common ground.
The status quo is acceptable.
Let's wait to see how this whole succession thing plays out first.![]()
For?Then He just judged you.
No you haven't. You use God to justify your political affiliations and motives. God doesn't have political enemies. He doesn't care for politics in the least. What are you talking about? Of course I've rendered to God what belongs to Him, hence the opposition to His enemies.
"Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God."
You've condemended yourself because you choose to judge on behalf of God. You've put yourself into the seat of Moses and God.That's condemnation, which is much worse than judging someone!

The political cultures of America and Canada are very different. In Canada most people want what is best for the country as a whole. In America people want what is best for the tribe or faction regardless of the impact on the country. That's a fundamental difference.Ultimately we're all human. We dont think that differently. Our cultures are not a whole lot different. Ive been to the US quite a few times and at times forgot I was in another country.
Do you know what duplicity is?...Judging by what a number of Republicans have said in the last week they may not be going back to political deadlock. That tactic clearly hasnt worked for anyone...
There you go again. You just judged me."God doesn't care..." You might want to think about that one.
I don't have to judge on behalf of God.
It sure did!
Barry IRREFUTABLY flip-flopped on "gay marriage":
Timeline: Obama and same sex marriage - YouTube
Sure looks like Barry "changed his platform according to whatever would get him elected" if you ask this cat. Eh Karrie? What's up with that? Huh?, *jabs in ribs*...
I'd also like to point out that although Romney flip-flopped on the issue of abortion, which makes it difficult for one to truly know where he stands, we know EXACTLY where Obama stands on the issue, and his position is not one us conservatives can support.
The status quo is acceptable.
That's the same question George Custer asked Crazy Horse at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Crazy Horse replied that he had a different solution in mind....
Why is it that you wish to be part of the problem instead of helping with the solution?
There you go again. You just judged me.
You are taking God's job by judging gays.
Well, Little Caesar perhaps it's time cast aside your love for the Republic as instructed by the man who you say is your Teacher.
God doesn't care about politics in the least.
So why do you judge on behalf of God? Do you christians have a problem with us real Christians?
That would depend on if you are talking about real conservatives or social conservatives. There are a good many people that are fiscal conservative but social liberal that will hold their noses and vote for the more liberal candidate because it is easier to sway fiscal policy than to deal with fundies on social policy.
"We clearly got beat and we need to recognize that," Jindal said.
His comment came after he criticized Romney over a remark the former presidential hopeful made to donors. In a call Wednesday, Romney cast his loss in a different light, asserting that Obama won re-election because of the "gifts" the president had already provided to blacks, Hispanics and young voters and because of the president's effort to paint Romney as anti-immigrant.
Jindal told reporters that Romney's comments, initially reported by the New York Times and the L.A. Times, were "absolutely wrong."
“We have got to stop dividing the American voters,” Jindal said. “If we’re going to continue to be a competitive party and win elections on the national stage, and continue to fight for our conservative principles, we need two messages to get out loudly and clearly. One, we are fighting for 100 per cent of the votes. And second, our policies benefit every American who wants to pursue the American dream, period.”
Liberal conservatism? I think the Republicans already ran on self-contradicting ideology. In the past few years, Mitt Romney espoused any position he thought would get him votes.
Two things didn't work for Republicans this election:
1. Mitt Romney style flip flopping
2. Racist, theocratic, misogynistic conservative lunacy
The should try honesty and sanity in 2016.
