Thankyou for reinforceing my wrongness. You have told a tiny white lie though haven't you? How is it you converse with one who has made no impression upon you? May God forgive you. I already have. hahahahaha
I am on this machine typing words because it is something to do. As I ponder the possibility that someone I do not know or understand has made an impression I come to the conclusion that no, none whatsoever. It's almost like playing one of the computer games on here like spider solitaire or chess. No impression is made it is just doing something to eliminate the boredom. I have had discussions many years ago with characters in chat rooms that have made a deep impression in me. That was a long time ago though. I've since accepted that you cannot know people on a computer. It's an artificial thing. Therefore not a thing to relate to reality.

Morality as an absolute definition of Good and Evil will always be a product of religion. Without religion you are left with Moral Relativism.. which is no morality at all, just subjective self interest.. without responsibility.. to society or to God.

I have the same problem with phones. I just can't relate to disembodied voices coming out of a piece of plastic. I avoid phones like the plague.

I dislike chatting on the phone. If I need information I can handle the phone. But I can't "chat" on the phone. I dislike not seeing the other persons face while we're talking. I can't get clues as to whether they're bored, interested, annoyed. I don't know if they're even paying attention. Cell phones are even worse! I refuse to answer mine when I'm out of the house unless it's a text. I'll text, but I won't chat and shop. I can't multi task like that. I get lost in both the conversation and my geographical location.

yeah we live in an impersonal world. sometimes I wish I had never fvcked with a computer and never been exposed to certain things and just lived my life out happy to have a good fishing spot close by.

Just think of me as a sort of missionary ...

About « Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

What is YOUR position on missionaries?
There are better positions around than just the missionary one.

Sorry, folks. Just sayin'. =)

The irony of religion; Two peoples with pretty much the same religious beliefs at war with each other, while each side's soldiers pray to the same god for victory. It's ridiculous.
hehehe To be human is to be ridiculous. (At least sometimes).

Margaret Sanger was one of the great proponents of eugenics of the 20th Century.

A founder of Planned Parenthood with its primary purpose of limiting undesirable races, ethnicities, 'criminal propensities', or low expectations by way of intelligence, origins or social status.. through the use of contraception and abortion. Her organization continues her legacy to this day as the leading provider of abortions. She stands on a par with Hitler as authoring one of the great holocausts of our time.

Great role model, Tay. And of course the eradication of religion is imperative to remove any moral sentiments in imposing a culture of death for the unworthy and genetic purification for those deemed to be worthy of life. Heil Margaret.
So? She still had a few good points. The way you carry on about the godless atheists, agnostics, homosexuals, etc., you seem as if you would be no different than Hitler yourself.

Morality as an absolute definition of Good and Evil will always be a product of religion. Without religion you are left with Moral Relativism.. which is no morality at all, just subjective self interest.. without responsibility.. to society or to God.
Well, at least in your little world that is the way you see things. Fortunately for you ignorant people, we godless people still do not believe wars, murder, thieving, raping, etc. are good things.
It is funny how humans managed to survive before there were such things as religions, too.

The dude is right, the way I see it. Humanity needs to evolve into maturity. And all I can see religions doing (along with politics and governments) is hindering that maturation.
Perhaps it is even beneficial that they do hinder it, though. I can see maturing too quickly to be possibly a bad thing as is what happens when you get something like a strawberry or radish from a grocery store. They were engineered to be grown quickly and large in order to maximize the profits from consumers. The bad part is that they lack flavour and other qualities.
