The wrath of God is so terrible that when you refuse to have your sins washed clean with the blood of Christ, he has no choice but to punish your sin with eternal torment! Sin is punished regardless, either Jesus got your punishment or you will get it.

Fortunately, the love of God is so unlimited that no matter the sin, you can easily avoid his wrath by walking through the wide open door! No list of good deeds required! In fact, you can never do enough to earn salvation! It's free!
Sure. The love of god is so unlimited that he'll fry me molten sulfur for eternity if I don't accept it, regardless of the kind of life I lived, and a vicious serial rapist/murderer gets a free pass just by walking through that door when the time comes. You know what we call people who won't accept that someone doesn't love them? Stalkers, abusers, psychos, murderers... That's exactly the kind of nonsensical doctrinal claim that so thoroughly turned me off religion I ended up at the atheist position.

When God sends somebody away for punishment it is to the grave, seen anybody escape from there yet. (not saying you are destined for the place by His hand should the opportunity present itself) If you aren't one of those why would He put you with them?

and there we have the final block(head). Not even the, supposedly intelligent, dexter has the mental acuity to comprehend the request that Goober made.

It just shows what the over all mental abilities of atheists truly are.

Is God a God of love or one of vengeance and revenge? Is God an alien being who created/cloned us, packed up and left never to be seen again? There are many basic questions to be asked.

Yes

Fallen angels, 1/3 of an innumerable number.
There are many basic questions to be asked.
As such they only require a basic answer, an addition to the first answer is that it is love for mankind that made God come up with a plan to 'retrieve us' even if it means He has to use a side that is usually 'asleep'. Considering the end and the alternative I'm not sure what the complaint is.

I understood it alright, but felt no further need to accede to it when I saw that bit of contentious nonsense from the other side.

You have to understand Dexte,r that religious beliefs run the entire spectrum from the heathen to the Bible thumper and as far as I'm concerned since no one actually KNOWS the answer all opinions are equally acceptable- what is not acceptable is people anywhere on the spectrum trying to ram their beliefs down other's throats. A lot of people think religious beliefs (or disbeliefs) to be a personal thing they don't want to discuss and they should be respected for that. I don't know if any of the diarreah on here is good bad or indifferent but it's still diareah and gets boring as hell and I'm sure very few have been convinced by these "Holy Joes".

As i've said before, those Bible Thumpers, (as you call them) start these thread 'all' the time, they're
looking for a battle, they want a battle, they love the battle, and they get the battle.
They come in here knowing they will be challenged, and if they did not want to be
challenged they would go to a religious forum, where challenges are not allowed.

Talloola- Aren't religious people supposed to be gentle, peace loving and considerate? ;-)

Try to take this as a serious question. How do you "Know " there is a god or that yours is the only real one. This is basically why I don't believe in god of any kind since all religions claim they have a direct line to god and everyone else is full of sh t. And what about religions that have multiple gods? How do you know they are not right?

Goober's AWOL in his thread. Consider his request for atheists to stay out void.

Bring on the hordes!!

Goober, Goober, Goober....
Man creates the gods he fears.
I think you really know that deep down, but there is too much cultural detrius hindering you to admit it.
