Must be Chamber of Commerce members poluting the thread

I'm surprised that the thread hasn't been blocked, locked or deleted. Other political forums have done so.

The most recent posters must be Chamber members. They make fun of the most important subject. Corruption in politics.

That is why there are some tuff questions in there.

Can Real Estate Developers ever be trusted to represent the citizens. Who would ever answer Yes. other than Real Estate people. How could they explain that.

That would depend on which citizens. many of us depend on development for all or part of our income. Working people are taxpaying citizens too, not just the rich retirees.

I once ran for mayor on a platform of cleaning up some of the corruption around town. Couldn't buy more than a few followers ;-)

Development doesn't depend on RealEstate developers being in town office. Now does it. Ask any previous disgruntled councilor or mayor. I have.

Good on you my friend. I'm putting ads in the paper telling the citizens to ask for a signed answered copy of these questions. Put some heat on these people to answer this "Good and Honest Test" For less than $10 I can make them sweat. You can too

4 of the 11 candidates are answering the questions. A candidate from out of town is considering the list as well.

161 questions in all. The local forum will be 3 "known" questions from the CofC answered 11 times. The candidates will want their questions from the HAT

Videoed in written answers for candidate

Videoed in written answers for candidate

Yup it's that easy. 12 or 15 minutes laying the 16 pages out and videoing. Then maybe 4 hours at the pub waiting for the 4 clips to upload.

At the forum on Wednesday 26Oct2011; we will force the issue, of candidates picking their own questions from a hat. Rather than the 3 pathetic / know / planted questions being asked 11 times. How about 33 random questions. Followed by opening remarks.

I'm sure there would be way more excitement with questions from the HAT
