Re: The Shiny Pony Returns to Canada's Left Coast

Sure he said the same of Ignatieff, Rae and Dion. It doesn't seem to be workgin this time. And the great thing--the angrier the conservatives get about it, the worse it gets for them. This guy is really mad. He needs to chillax.

The Cons don't need to say anything in the case of Justine... Shiny Pony does it all to himself, hell, I haven't heard a peep from the other Parties, they are all just sitting back and enjoying the Trudeau-self-destruct-show

Boy Who Cried Wolf.

'Boy' is a very apt description of JT

Hasn't happened yet. We'll see, I guess.

I disagree... Comments on China, the Ukraine, sending parkas and toques to refugees in a desert, Boston bombings, etc, etc, etc.

The list is long and come election time, expect the other Parties (especially the NDP) to remind the public of JT's gaffes.

He'll only have himself to blame

Yeah, we actually care about Canada and the world, and get angry when a political party led by a moron tries to do serious damage to Canada, and ignore the ills of the world.

Especially when it turns out he is not only ignorant, and an imbecile, but a manipulative liar as well.

Trudeau does not have a bloody clue.

God help us if he becomes PM......a scenario I find less and less likely.

I agree except for one small thing.....the Iraqi desert can be very, very cold. An SAS team died there back in the Gulf War, some of them from exposure.

The problem with handing out parkas is not that they would be unappreciated, it is that they would be keeping dead bodies warm.

Point well taken... Although, at the time of the event, the published temps were not prohibitive, let alone the consideration that the local population, having lived there many years, would have known this and had already appropriate clothing

The parkas, blankets, etc would have been of great use to ISIS after they were stolen/confiscated.

Like I said, we'll have to wait and see. As of right now, the Liberals and the Conservatives are quite close though, as ar Harper and Trudeau personally. My guess is that, if the Conservative launch into a rabid attack campaign, it will backfire on them. It has so far. The COnservatives hope that it will eventually stick, if they just double-down. Maybe. The problem for the Conservatives is that they are fighting from a position of weakenss--their government has lost some of its vitality, they've got their own list of scandals now, and recent economic indicators will hurt. Theya re hoping that Trudeau will lose the election, as opposed to the Conservatives winning it.

Should be an interesting battle. I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping for the Liberals, myself, but Harper's not that bad.

I've been wondering. Is Justin Trudeau a Kenyan Muslim socialist?

Is that better or wosre than being a lying, manpiulative moron?

I've been wondering. Is Justin Trudeau a Kenyan Muslim socialist? I mean, has anybody actually seen his original birth certificate?

Unfortunately, we know all about his birth.

He came by it all honestly.

His arrogance, manipulative nature, and dishonesty came from his father.

His lack of intellect, and his looks came from his mother.

We know wayyyyy to much about his geneology here in Canada.

I watched him in the London Ontario news conference.....

He was exactly like a talking Ken doll.

Pull the string, and he says a line.

Pull it again, and he says a different line.

Pull one more time, different line.....then it goes back to the start.

No offense intended to any talking Ken dolls

Is that better or wosre than being a lying, manpiulative moron?

I only wish he was from Moronia.....maybe we could send him back. :)

I've actually been paying attention to your politics, and I have to say, if I was Canadian, I'd probably want Harper in a two-horse race. As I understand it, the only way I could do anything about that would be to vote Conservative in my local riding, and hope for the best. Is that correct?

You are dead on.

Just checking. I understand the Parliamentary system, but many countries have variations on it. Seems a little weird to me, but I'm sure our system, which often leads to divided government (a good thing IMHO) must seem pretty chaotic and futile to you.

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

London, January 20th - Southwestern Ontario must "transition away" from a manufacturing-based economy and develop more technology and economic innovation, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau said Tuesday.

Windsor, January 22nd - "We talked about the need for the federal government to step up on manufacturing and give support to local jobs and prosperity," Trudeau said. "
