Obama Will Have Made 7 Campaign Stops Before Visiting Where Hurricane Hit…

Attaboy brock.

By the time Barack Obama visits the place in Louisiana where Hurricane Isaac hit on September 3, he will have made 7 campaign stops and held 8 campaign events since the storm first made landfall.

The storm, Hurricane Isaac, first made landfall on August 28, 2012, at about 6:45 p.m.

Since that time, here's what Obama has done:

He's held an event on the cost of education at Fort Collins, Colorado. That was on August 28.

Also, on August 28, Obama held a campaign event in Ames, Iowa. Likewise, the president spoke about education.

The next day, Obama traveled to the swing state of Virginia for a event near the University of Virginia. In Charlottesville, Virginia, Obama spoke also about education and "the choice for young voters."

Today, Obama is going to Texas to talk to troops at Fort Bliss, Texas. The event today is meant to mark the anniversary of the official end of the Iraq war two years ago.

Tomorrow, September 1, Obama is planning to go to two campaign events, both in Iowa--Des Moines and Sioux City. “President Barack Obama is bringing his campaign back to Iowa Saturday," a local news outlet reported. "Set-up is already underway at Living History Farms in Urbandale for the president’s campaign stop. Tickets are still available at any Obama campaign office. Doors open for the event at 10:30 a.m. and Chris Cornell and The National will perform before the president speaks. After the stop in Des Moines, President Obama will move on to another campaign event in Sioux City.”

The day after, on September 2, Obama again returns to Colorado. There, he's scheduled to speak at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

bad move on the part of the ones who did it.

Perhaps it is time the left quit crying "racism" at anyone that disagreed with the Great Black Hope.

Obama Speech To Soldiers Met With “Extended Periods Of Silence”…

President Barack Obama was greeted with fleeting applause and extended periods of silence as he offered profuse praise to soldiers and their families during an Aug. 31 speech in Fort Bliss, Texas.

His praise for the soldiers — and for his own national-security policies — won cheers from only a small proportion of the soldiers and families in the cavernous aircraft-hanger.

The audience remains quiet even when the commander-in-chief thanked the soldiers’ families, and cited the 198 deaths of their comrades in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The audience’s reaction was so flat that the president tried twice to elicit a reaction from the crowd.

“Hey, I hear you,” he said amid silence.

The selected soldiers who were arrayed behind the president sat quietly throughout the speech.

CNN and MSNBC ended their coverage of the speech before it was half-over.

This is even better:

DNC 2012: Still Kitschin'

As Seen at the Dem Convention: The Calendar That Uses John 3:16 in Reference to Obama

One of the knocks on the GOP convention was that the “swag” — the kitschy stuff available in tote bags, at booths, and being handed out randomly — was lacking, boring even. Well, it looks like vendors at the Democratic convention are going to try and beat Republicans in that category. Case in point: the Barack Obama calendar that includes a John 3:16 reference to the president.
Slate writer Dave Weigel captured a picture of the iconic scripture plastered over an image of Obama and his birth certificate. The picture is the August “centerfold” so to speak, since Obama’s birthday is August 4th, and starts with the words “Heaven sent”:

Obama Attacked Over Party Platform on Jerusalem

CHARLOTTE, N.C.–The Democratic Party platform doesn’t state that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, a change from prior years that could provide fuel to critics who say President Barack Obama’s commitment to Israel is weak.

“President Obama and the Democratic Party maintain an unshakable commitment to Israel’s security,” begins the 70-page platform in a section titled “The Middle East.” The three-paragraph section details the Obama administration’s support for Israel—including boosting security assistance—but says nothing about Jerusalem.
