He didn't need the Democrat House to launch an attack. Besides, of the 8 years that Bush held office the GOP owned Congress the first 6.

Try again.

Don't make it so easy next time.
Sorry, I forgot the question mark. I think the real reason is that they were so mired down in Iraq that they couldn't afford the personnel or armaments to pull it off. Now that you are pulling out (actually scaling down) in Iraq, you probably could do it now. Since Obama dances to the same puppet masters as Bush, he could launch that attack if they wanted him to.

Hmmm... you remembered to put a period instead of a question mark? That's odd.

Oh... I thought the real reason was that he couldn't get Congress to back him.

That means I really am not buying your excuse.

Obama will not attack Iraq. know you ACHE for the US to attack Iraq... Obama won't do it.

Does your mouth always say exactly what your brain is thinking?
Obama doesn't have to attack Iraq, Bush already did. Thanks for proving my point.
I didn't say he would attack, I said he could, but that decision is not up to him. He is just obeying orders like the rest of the grunts.

Oh that was a mistake... an obvious one. But one you'll need in order to save face after being schooled once again. We both know that.

So at any rate... you'll need to try harder next time.

Well, the Republicans are the enemy of Latinos and any other group of poor people. But that is not politically correct. Politically correct for Republicans is to call the President an empty suit, communist Nazi traitor. That is fine but telling the truth is breaking the rules of engagement.

Florida just elected Marco Rubio (Republican) to Senate. Last I heard Cubans are Latinos. He won by a very large margin.

''I thought you said Bush was going to do that before he left?''

As Cliffy said, when he tried to invade Iran this time the Democrats developed some b*lls and stood up to him.

''Cubans are Latinos''

Florida Cubans are largely white and upper class which is why they stick with their benefactors in the Republican party. All others Latins stick mostly with the Dems.

Bush never tried to invade Iran, there was talk of it but we were to involved in Afghanistan and Iraq, the U.S. military is not that big. As President Bush could have attacked Iran just as he attacked Iraq. Officially, the War Powers Resolution requires the president to provide written notification to Congress of the introduction of U.S. armed forces into hostilities within forty-eight hours of such action. The president must explain the reasons forces were inserted in a hostile situation, the executive's authority for doing so, and the scope and duration of the military action. In addition, the president is required to terminate the use of military forces after sixty days unless Congress has declared war. Democrats had nothing to do with the decision no matter what credit they try and take,as I mentioned we would have been spread dangerously thin if we had.

He did not try to invade but clearly wanted to do so especially since it was Cheney who wanted it. When he knew that he would not get Democrats support he decided not to do it.

LMAOATU again!

Have you looked at the South West at all this evening? Are those Mexicans mostly white and upper class now?

Cheney was a Vice President, all they can do is what ever the President tells them to do. I do not agree with your statement that Cubans are white. One thing you never do is call a Cuban white, they are proud of who they are. Look at Cuban news once in a while.

No Smackie, you goofed it. Harry Reid's win in Nevada was attributed to Hispanic voters. While no definitive proof has been provided as of yet it is a good bet that Hispanics made the difference in California's win for Dem Jerry Brown. As for Florida Cubanos I know them first hand being a Latino West Indian whose roots come to some extent from that state.

Try again.

The damn shame of it all.........Obama has polarized American politics.....the centre loses.

McCain was the man that could have worked with both sides.

So far, Obama has been a dismal failure........

but, he still has time......
