Inherited a mess, this guy brought a mess with him as well. I hope you all read this the story by now. "Some independent filmmaker and a 20-year-walk into an ACORN office in Baltimore. They're there for some tax help. ACORN, you see, will help people with tax forms ...for a fee. He tells the ACORN workers that he's a pimp and the girl is his prostitute. They need help in reporting her income. The ACORN workers don't bat an eye ... they suggest that she should report here income as a performance artist. Then it gets good. They tell the ACORN staffers that they're bringing in some "very young" girls from El Salvador and the girls will be turning tricks for them. Now understand what we're talking about here .. slavery. These young teens will be held and forced to work as teen hookers for this guy. What did the ACORN workers do? They offered some advice to the "pimp" and his "prostitute" on how to hide these girls and get some tax write-offs for their care."

What did ACORN have to say when the video surfaced? They called it "gotcha journalism." What in the hell does that mean? I guess it means that a journalist checks out an organization that is receiving boatloads of public funds to see what they'll do if presented with a clear-cut plan for sex slavery and child exploitation. Then the journalist finds that the organization seems willing to actually help the bad guys get away with their scheme! Then the journalist spreads the word ... and this is "gotcha journalism?" Well then I guess you can say that I love "gotcha journalism."

This is the same group that helped get Obama elected Guess we got the GOTCHA

A year ago people were wondering how much food they could store in a bomb shelter. Sentiment has improved but it's understandably a politically opportune time. The Dems would would be doing the same if Pallan was VP right now.

I'm with the Agnostic Party.

That won’t satisfy the partisan wingnuts, Kreskin. Are you with the liberal Agnostic Party or conservative Agnostic Party?

Reminds me of an incidence in Ireland when we were living in Britain. A reporter had gone to Belfast to cover a Catholic – Protestant disturbance. While she was covering the disturbance, someone asked her if she was a Catholic or Protestant. She didn’t want to get involved, so she replied she was an Agnostic.

“Yes, but are you a Catholic Agnostic or a Protestant Agnostic?” came back the question.

Ironsides, and just what does Obama have to do with ACORN, apart from the fact that he was associated with it once upon a time? Has anybody proved a link? If ACORN did something wrong, they should be held accountable, but what does this have to do with Obama?

"But how does one like him get elected no matter what party they are in?"

Kreskin, it is obvious you have never driven thru the great state of West Virginia. Of you had, you would have noticed that just about evereything ther is named after Robert C. Byrd. In his long years in the Senate this racist Grand Wizard of the KKK learned and mastered the art of ripping off America and give to West Virginians.

Just goes to show that EVERYONE, including West Virginians - and the Hell with honesty and integrity - have price.

"Why African-Americans, Jack? There are disadvantaged people everywhere who need help. Does Jesus give you extra points on your pre-heaven assessment by helping specific races?"

DurkaDurka, Habitat for Humanity does great work for all races. Over the years, I also spent a week in Newfoundland, Regina, Halifax and Ottawa as a HFH volunteer. Most houses I helped to build were to be owned by Whites. I also worked as a volunteer in Kentucky, with Appalachian Service Project, beneficiaries of that were also white people.

I did not mean to bring this up, because it is safe bet, that now that I have you will acuse me of tooting my own horn. I am sure, I could not redeem myself in your eyes if I invented a cure for cancer.

"Can the two of you (YukonJack and DurkaDurka) stop baiting each other please?"

As far as I am concerned, I am finished with DurkaDurka. He hasn't got enough decency for an apology.

Based on the easily provable fact that SirJosephPorter is trolling ANYTHING and EVERYTHING I post, it is surprising (or perhaps NOT) that he has been ignoring my post #812.

Maybe he is hiding behind DurkaDurka's skirt.

"Indeed it does EagleSmack. When almost any Democratic candidate can garner more than 90% black vote, when almost any Republican candidate can muster at most 10% of black vote, the truth does indeed hurt. No attempt to portray Democrats as racist and Republicans as a paragon of virtue will be credible with such numbers."

When African-Americans see what happens to ANY and ALL black person who dares to be conservative, they give up. When People like Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Armstrong Williams, Ken Blackwell, even icons like Bill Cosby, and hundreds and hundreds of others who are labelled "Uncle Toms" by poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton they say: what's the use?

And if that is not the case, then it is obvious that the non-thinking, monolithic vote is the sign of stupidity.

Is that racist? No more than claiming that all poor, conservative white people who vote Republican are wingnut religious nutbars. At least, according to the ilk of SirJosephPorter.

Thomas played the race card. Why wouldn't he,the Dems didn't want a conservative SCJ, no matter if he was black, white or green. Of course they would go after him. Anita Hill isn't exactly an unsuccessful black women either.

'Pimp & hooker' catch B'klyn staff

The scandal surrounding the left-wing activist organization ACORN has spread to New York, with employees at its Brooklyn office caught on video helping supposed ladies of the night get loans for their dream houses of ill repute.
Rather than reminding the women that prostitution is dangerous and illegal and advising them to change their careers, counselors at the social-services group shockingly offer suggestions on how they can launder their earnings.
"Honesty is not going to get you the house," a loan counselor at the offices told two activists posing as a mortgage-seeking pimp and prostitute.
"You can't say what you do for a living."
ACORN workers in two other cities, Baltimore and Washington, DC, had already fallen hooker, line and sinker for the hidden-camera sting operation by two conservative activists.
Four ACORN employees have been fired as a result of the earlier videos, and last Friday the Census Bureau severed its ties with the group, whose members had been hired to do canvassing during the 2010 census.
Mayor Bloomberg spoke out on the controversy today.
"Prostitution is illegal in this state and I don't know why they would -- why an organization like ACORN, who's trying to encourage voter turnout and voter registration, why they're getting involved in any of that stuff," Bloomberg said. "But clearly it's not appropriate and they shouldn't have been doing it. Whether they broke a law or not I don't know. You'll have to talk to the legal (authorities)."
The Brooklyn DA's office announced today it would be investigating the group.
In an unrelated outrage, ACORN was accused of widespread voter fraud during the 2008 presidential election by helping unqualified voters to register.
As in prior videos released by the filmmaking team of James O'Keefe, 25, and Hannah Giles, 20, employees of the group -- which specializes in housing and voter activism -- were eager to dispense advice on gaming the system and skirting the law.
"You know, what goes on in the house we don't care," one counselor said. "We just help you with the mortgage."
O'Keefe and Giles were garishly dressed as a stereotypical pimp and prostitute. O'Keefe was decked out in excessively snazzy flesh-peddler couture, and Giles, going by the name "Eden," wore almost nothing.
The ACORN workers were not the slightest bit judgmental or put off by the request for help in getting financing for a brothel.

O'Bama's buddies, sheesh.

EagelSmack, haven’t your Republican governors been without exception moderates? Like Norm Veldt or Mitt Romney (Romney was a moderate when he was Massachusetts governor, he moved to the right when he ran for president, for political expediency).

I remember when Norm Veldt was running for governor, the Democratic candidate was John Silber. How he managed to get the Democratic nomination, I have no idea, he was a religious right nut (he believed life begins at conception, Gerry Falwell talked of him approvingly). I remember Feminists were terrified of him. No wonder Veldt got elected, I think he was actually more moderate than the Democratic candidate.

Republican Moderates... is there a point?

Never heard of a Norm Veldt... I've heard of Bill Weld but you are obviously dillusional if you think a Veldt guy ran against Silber. Unless of course you are being immature.

Wrong or immature? Which is it?

Silber...another know it all liberal that got smoke at the Governor's election. Silber chastised a grade school girl for spelling "Plimoth Plantation" wrong.

"Look, I got this letter from a girl that spelled Plymouth Plantation P-L-I-M-O-T-H. That is what's wrong with our education!"

"Mr. Silber...that is who you spell Plimoth with regards to Plimoth Plantation."

"Well good for her then.'

Johnny Silber was the first to come out and say what all Democrats say behind closed doors.

Silly Democrats.

Just a guess, but if it could be established without a doubt how many votes for Obama were coerced by intimidation, threats, bribery, Obama's victory would be just as hollow as Bush, 2000.

Just stolen by an entity that is - unlike the Supreme Court - believes in child prostitution. Of minors. Obama must be proud. He, after all declared that ACORN WILL have a place at his table in setting policies.

The liberal media's ACORN blackout

UNDERCOVER journal ism is only acceptable when it fits a liberal agenda. That's the message from professional reporters and left-wing activists outraged by the successful video stings targeting President Obama's old friends at the left-wing, tax-subsidized outfit ACORN.

The liberal media's ACORN blackout
