I said it before, I am not picking on Obama. I don't need to:

American Thinker: Obama's Inaugural Address: Two Years of Broken Promises

I remember seeing on TV the National Mall in Washington after Obama's inaguration. Garbage and dirt, scrap and rubbish all over the place.

Kind of like the shape he will leave America after on very, very inglorious term.

And just as an aside, I saw on TV the National Mall in Washington after the 8/28 Tea Party event.

Perfect illustration of the difference between Left and Right.

TenPenny, the Tea Party left the National Mall clean and garbage free.

You know fully well what I meant, but typically you can't face the truth and your only lame response is another slur.

If you had even the slightest little bit of honesty you would have quoted me in full. Of course that would have shown you as the hypocrite that you and your ilk are.

Who was it who said that the inability to recognize sarcasm and humour was a sure sign of stupidity?

I seem to recall reading that recently.

Please note, I have entered into the record that I have quoted you in full, so that your honour and ego are not impaired.

Sarcasm must have a firm rooting in reality. Based on your posts, time after time, it a foreign concept to you.

Quoted me in full? So what is that dangling "I" in your post (quoting me) #2823?

Sarcasm used for events, situations can be funny as hell, for people it's a very weak form of humour to be used as a last resort against a real sick S.O.B.

Pulitzer Prize-winning political commentary right there.

And in case you couldn't tell, it was a big dose of sarcasm.

If you repeat that in comprehensible English, I might give some credit, kind of like you gave me just about every time you respond to any of my posts.

How does a little reverse condescention and patronizing feel?

How much simpler could someone put it?

Icarus27, it is a known fact, reported not only by FOXNews, but all the "credible" news sources that the Obama crowd after the hysterical inaguriation left the National Mall looking like war zone. Garbage, campaign signs, coffee cups, food wrappers, fried chicken boxes all over the place.

After the Glenn Beck 8/28 event the Capital crew had nothing to do.

Was it disrespectful to trash the National Mall on inauguration day? - Yahoo! Answers

Like Glenn Beck asked: Which one are you America?

My words now: Clean Conservatives or dirty liberals?

Nah. The National Mall as a whole, as shown in the live video from C-Span, is pretty normal looking. Perhaps you can find some video of a certain part of the Mall that is trashed, but that is to be expected after that crowd. On the whole though, the National Mall got through it fine.

This Article is not about the Mall but it does show a picture part ways down the page......

HOW'S THIS FOR CHANGE?

At the top right hand corner of Page 17 of the New York Post of January 24th, 2009, was a short column entitled "Replacing Michelle" in the National Review "The Week" column. I found this interesting, so here it is, word for word, as it appeared two days ago......

'Some employees are simply irreplaceable. Take Michelle Obama: The University of Chicago Medical center hired her in 2002 to run "programs for community relations, neighborhood outreach, volunteer recruitment, staff diversity and minority contracting."

In 2005 the hospital raised her salary from $120,000 to $317,000 - nearly twice what her husband made as a Senator.

Oh did we mention that her husband had just become a US Senator? He sure had. Requested a $1 Million earmark for the UC Medical Center, in fact. Way to network Michelle!

But now that Mrs Obama has resigned, the hospital says her position will remain unfilled. How can that be, if the work she did was vital enough to be worth $317,000?

We can think of only one explanation: Senator Roland Burris's wife wasn't interested.

--- The Editors of National Review, writing in the Magazine's Feb 9 issue.'

It's not on Snopes, well it's not one of their reference pages, it's on their message board.

Her position at the hospital changed, from Executive Director, to VP of community and external affairs...my understanding is that there would be a pay raise there.
Michelle Obama appointed vice president for community and external affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals - University of Chicago Medical Center
Have to watch :"Snopes" even they have been known to slant left.

Obama is a sneaky little man. The gun-grabbers are scheming again. But this time they are stealing through the back door. They don't want you to see them coming.

"The BATFE (The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) has recently begun to connive "emergency powers" from President Obama to monitor purchases from gun stores.

They don't want you buying more than one rifle without you being reported to Washington over so-called "terrorism concerns".

More importantly, they're using "emergency powers" so they can steal away what they want without a vote.

They've been monitoring citizens for decades with handgun sales, and now they're trying it with rifles.

Of course, you and I both know that they're plotting to stop you from buying any guns without them recording it. But this is how they start down that path.

Emergency powers.

The BATFE is using their favorite bogey man of terrorism and drug-related violence in other countries to trump the charge that your purchase of rifles is to blame. They are stealing powers away from your elected representatives and into their own hands to spy on and record your purchases if you buy more than one gun in a week.

If this is starting to sound all too familiar, that's because it is.

Remember Mayor Bloomberg? One of the wealthiest and most powerful anti-gunners out there?

This was Bloomberg's plan.

And it's blatantly against the law.

The Firearm Owners' Protection Act was designed specifically to prevent this perversion of freedom from happening.

In fact, this act also requires that any changes be given a public hearing no less than 90 days in advance (the BATFE is attempting this power-grab with just 30 days notice).

In other words, existing Federal law stops this move specifically, and the speed in which it is being attempted...

...And they are rolling right over it like it wasn't even there.

Even schoolchildren know that it is the legislature's job to write law in the United States, not the President or some power-hungry law enforcement agency, bent on crafting their own rules. But with so many distractions out there, some of your Congressmen and Senators don't even know what's going on with this story or how it will impact the average gun owner.
:
  • This is an illegal request by the BATFE and that you won’t stand for it.
  • That their responsibilities are being minimized by an activist President and a failing law enforcement agency.
  • It is the job of Congress to legislate, and the duty of law enforcement to back up that legislation. Not the other way around."

More than 60,000 guns connected to Mexico's drug war have been traced back to American gun shops...in Canada, we've stopped terrorists from blowing $hit up, and assassinating public officials because CSIS and the RCMP have worked in close connection with American counterparts to monitor who is buying what.

There is violence and terrorism on the other side of your border, and it is spilling over into America too. So, what do you suggest they do ironsides?
