Unfortunately, they made us going into work this Bank Holiday Monday, albeit our shift doing 8-1 instead of the usual 12-8, so I missed the actual funeral. But as I was walking home I watched on my phone the procession with the Queen's coffin on the gun carriage pulled by 142 Royal Navy sailors from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch and it was an amazing site with stirring music.

After the State Funeral the Queen's coffin was conveyed on a gun carriage from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch by 142 Royal Navy sailors. At Wellington Arch the coffin was lifted onto a hearse for the relatively short journey to Windsor Castle in Berkshire where the Queen will be interred. She has left London for the last time and will be arriving at Windsor Castle shortly.

What a glorious site: traditional British pomp and pageantry but out in the Berkshire countryside.

The guys with the colourful uniforms in front of the coffin are the heralds. They always lead Royal processions.

As her coffin is lowered into the vault, the Garter King of Arms will read out all her titles before proclaiming Charles III as King.

In the chapel at Windsor Castle, the three great physical symbols of the British Sovereign - the Crown, Orb and Sceptre - have been removed from the top of the Queen's coffin. The three will be used again next year for the Coronation of King Charles III.

Rumours are swirling that the Coronation will take place on 2nd June 2023 - the 70th anniversary of his mother's.

I can see Trudeau having a chat with a group of people outside the chapel. I also saw former British PM John Major in there.

It was nice that they got through seven hours of televised ceremony without a single shot of some entertainer in the crowd or the pews. And that nobody misbehaved, or if they did, they got stuffed most ricky-tick.

With all the big burly soldiers and sailors knocking about, many of the soldiers armed with sharp pikes, as well as all the cops, you'd have to be foolhardy to try anything.

True enough, but sadly, there's ample foolhardy to go around.

There was a guy who ran towards her coffin in Westminster Hall but he was quickly taken down. I don't know if he was an over-emotional fan or a disgruntled republican.

It's difficult having a funeral as a Royal. Most of us have private funerals attended by several family and friends. The Queen probably had half of humanity watching hers. Think about the dangers that entails. Can't be much fun for her family.

I heard Harry and Meghan were pissed because they had to sit in the 2nd row.

I read today that the King is planning on stripping Prince Harry and Prince Andrew of their roles.

They've already been humiliated by the King not allowing them to wear military uniforms during the funeral.

The committal of the Queen is taking place at Windsor Castle. It's a private affair between the Queen's family and friends so we have the weird sight on Sky News of Alistair Bruce - Royal, Religious and National Events Commentator for Sky News, senior British Army reservist and a Chief of Clan Bruce (he's a descendant of Robert the Bruce) - telling us what's going on as the camera focuses on a dark and eerie-looking Windsor Castle as night falls.

Andrew I could see.

But Harry... not that I think Harry will care, but at the same time, he may question why if it interferes with things he's involved with that might dove-tail into his role as a Royal. I also thought it odd that Harry wasn't in uniform. Again, Andrew I could get, but Harry?

Likely in trying to show family unity he didn't say anything, but the military was ALWAYS important to Harry; this will not have him feel kind towards his father.

The Queen's corgis Sandy and Muick paid their respects to their former mistress as the State Hearse passed by them at Windsor Castle.

The Queen's pony Emma watched on as the hearse passed by at Windsor Castle.

Elizabeth II famously adored dogs and horses.
