Do you really thing I join this type of discussion to get enlightened? Look at the audience in the last 10 comments or so and then the quality of the posts of those same posters and in any public place you would be regarded as 'pack mentality'. I don't mind being you center of focus, it keeps you away from other people. Even a pack will turn on itself under certain conditions, on a bbs forum your informationless post was you joining the 'pack' even though have no dispute other than it serves as entertainment that you have no other outlet and if you did it to anybody else they would have already kicked you to the curb.
The really good stuff needs bankers, politicians, clergy and in the ring at the same time. 'The rest' are left to their own devices as to who they belong too. Putin is more respectful as a leader of a nation than any I could name off the top of my head from the era of the USSR. Same goes for Iran, the government that controlled them for 25 years was replaced by one that was more senstive to the need of the people rather than the needs of the shareholders of international companies. That is one example from a list that makes it quite plain that Nations sometimes change and being good one decade is not a device that determines they will be good in the next decade if they allow changes to be made. You are stuck in a time that has long since vacated the building called morality, you are defending a broken building, time to move on.
The Nobel committee seems to have some strange ideas about how they award their prizes. They're a private organization and they can do what they want, but every faux pas they make detracts from their credibility.

Russian Ground Forces to Receive 750 Units of Military Hardware | Defense | RIA Novosti
MOSCOW, October 1 (RIA Novosti) – The Russian Ground Forces will receive over 750 units of military hardware in 2014, including Iskander-M missile systems and Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), the Defense Ministry said.
“In 2014, we are planning to purchase more than 750 units of military hardware [for the Ground Forces], mainly – the Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile systems, the Tornado-G MLRS, the Typhoon and Tigr-M armored vehicles,” the ministry said in a statement Monday, ahead of the Ground Forces Day celebrated in Russia on October 1.
According to the ministry, the Ground Forces received about 600 units of military hardware in 2013, including the 152-mm Msta-S self-propelled howitzers and various types of command and communications vehicles.
In addition, about 100 T-72 main battle tanks and over 100 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles were overhauled and delivered to the Ground Forces this year, the ministry said.
Next thing you know their motto will be 'we come in peace, to make sure it stays that way we brought along a few guns.' Still a step up from the 'through deception ...' one .
