Actually, fascism lives at the extreme right end of the spectrum, while the extreme left is reserved for anarchists, further left than socialism and even communism. You can find that in one of them 'book' things I mentioned in another thread.

If you look at their respective positions on the complete spectrum, all the major parties in North America are petty close to center, waving a little one way or the other in matters of taxation, social programs and the degree to which the market is allowed to determine their own fate. Fascist, Comunist, Socialist, Dictator and the like are terms used mainly to express dissatisfaction but are totally inaccurate when used to describe our political system. People throw them around as insults but they don't mean much. It's like calling Trump a moron. He's lots of things, but stupid isn't one of them.

There is also the not insignificant fact that none of the so called peaceful BLM members disavowed or tried to stop the looters.

Actually if you look at videos of the protests when rioting started in a lot of cities, peaceful protesters DID try to stop the rioting and looting, even tried to protect police against the asshole terrorist types. Even the families begged people not to riot and yet it happened, because, again, assholes saw an opportunity and assholes are gonna asshole.

That's a big stumbling block for BLM in general, their complete lack of any hierarchical structure. Ms. Cullors claims the title of co-founder, as she and two associates started speaking out for black rights following the killing of Trayvon Martin in 2012. The largely unorganized movement consist of a collection of independantly started "chapters" who don't really answer to anyone other than themselves. You can see Biden's dilemma, who do you invite? Apparently BLM is not wihtout its internal strife as various factions seek to be "official representatives" with no one actually officiating.

BLM has all kinds of ideas of what it wants to be, just has no idea how to be it because no one wants to really do the work especially on a national level. I don't know if it's fear or something else that keeps them from organizing.

Personally I still have issues that it's named BLM. I *get* why mind you, but it just continually sounds too uninclusive to enough people that even supporters shy away from it, IMO. At the same time, the ALM claim of the far right has turned that option into a nogo to use.

Why? Have the Proud Boys done that has come close to what the BLM or ANTIFA have done in America. Have the Proud Boys been out here looting, rioting, burning down buildings or shooting people? NO. They have been pretty much peaceful. The oly reason why comrade Turdeau wants them put on some terrorist list is because thay are real and true Canadian patriots and comrade Trudeau does not like patriotic Canadians. The PB get in the way of his promoting of communism for Canada and Canadians. Comrade Trudeau is using this Convid 19 hoax virus as an excuse to take all of our freedoms away. Some of these Convid 19 rules make no sense at all. Here in BC when anyone goes into a restaurant they have to have a face diaper mask on. When they sit down at the table they can take it the mask off. And when they want to go to the bathroom or leave they have to put the face diaper mask back on. So, what I am being told here that when I walk into a restaurant without wearing a mask a could spread the China virus. But when I sit down and take the mask off I will not be able to spread the China virus. WTH? This is supposed to be logical to our dear comrade leaders. I am truly now in the belief that pretty much all of our dear leaders are a bunch of buffoons and have gone absolutely bonkers. I will never trust what they say and do anymore. They need to be told to shut up and sit down. Works for me.
