and his tweets show his emotional state Trumpians just can't deal with the facts as they continue to emerge. and would like all critique etc disappear.......like in a NON democratic state. they want everyone to think and behave the same way.....like zombies. The question is Just how far will they go to defend this autocrat?? And what are they prepared to give up for him?? as he erodes the social fabric they live in. The rallies are getting uglier and less civilised all the time as per example of the "leader". rudeness, lying, and just plainnastiness is becomeing the norm........due to the example from the WH.

WTF wouldn't being hounded day after day continuously for 18 months, especially over something that happened before he was even president? A lot of simple minded people just need a dog to kick! He'll come out the other end tougher than ever.

when someone decides to run for POTUS......isn't there an extensive vetting process of the candidate.. and wouldn't financial shenanigans disqualify him.......as it indicates lack of ethics, standards, etc. There have to be SOME qualifications that have to be met ........or are there??

Putin would KNOW all about Trump's financial behaviours. & connections.

Trump hijacked the GOP and they weren't at all happy about it until it translated into power for them, if you'll recall. An aweful lot of them are holding their noses as they go along for the ride. We don't yet know what their threshold is, yet (bad mid-terms, criminal evidence against Trump?) but do far, only a minority of Republicans are willing to do what is necessary to save the integrity of their republic. Perhaps, the war that Trump is starting with the Koch Bros. Will be his ultimate undoing when all sorts of Republican candidates suddlenly no longer have their $$$ backing them in November. Such is the "charismatic" hold that Trump has on his followers that maybe even that will not be enough.

The entire effort of the Mueller investigation has gone completely off target. It's mandate was to investigate COLLUSION between the Russian Government and the Trump Presidential Campaign. They have found NOTHING, nada, zilch. There was no collusion.

So they've targeted Trump campaign officials for tax and banking infractions that preceded and had nothing to do with the campaign. Without collusion to propel a Trump impeachment process, they've redirected attention to Obstruction of Justice... of a crime that did NOT exist. They've indicted Russian Security officials knowing that they will never have to prove their case in court, and, cynically presented that in such a way as to sabotage a summit between Trump and Putin.

Obstruction of Justice is so ambiguously and speculatively defined that apparently it can be made to apply to expressing an opinion in opposition to a railroad frameup of a prosecution like the Mueller Investigation. Hence the notice that it is targetting Trump twitters. What it comes down to it is the 'crimes' being investigated are solely those against a exalted, hermit kingdom of Bob Mueller, which is above all criticism and oversight.. and NOT the people the United States.

I think that this fiasco of a persecution will help Trump's and Republicans cause in the midterms. If they retain control of Congress then this thing will wind up early in 2019. It can go nowhere. A sitting President cannot be indicted. Trump will not be impeached by a Republican House or convicted by Republican Senate. And the Democrats will realize the Russia investigation has lost all credibility and is backfired big time with the electorate. They will then move on to other things. Essentially this is turning AGAINST the dems and Mueller. It is a wildfire that is turning on the arsonists.

Its time Mueller put up his COLLUSION evidence or shut up. And if he shuts up, its time to kick his treasonous srawney ass, and his de facto coup d'etat, back into private practice.

A (non-American) respecter of the system of checks and balances of the American Federal System and the integrity of the separation of powers. An admirer of Trump's economic nationalism and cultural conservatism. And a disrespector of Witchhunts, be those of Joe McArthy or Bob Mueller.
