Wow a roast of beef!
My Sunday dinners are (and yes I pull out all the stops.. Two weiners and a can of brown beans. It's appropriate it seems for some Canadians to live on $300 a month while others eat roast.....
Enjoy
Beans and eggs also rock. But probably you can get a better value for your money. Buying a package of dried beans and rice and a few spices would cost you about the same as a pack of wieners but you could get many more healthy and fulfilling meals out of it.
In season vegetables also make for an inexpensive option to processed food. All you need is a window, dirt and water to grow your own herbs. Fresh herbs change everything.
That some have to live on $300 per month, is just the same as it ever was. At that end of the spectrum, you are guilty long before you walk in the door so you might as well learn how to play that game. No one has to live on that kind of money except for those who play by the rules expecting that some day salvation will come.
