We're tired of Islamic rage. Whether it's over cartoons, what their moms are wearing or what the pope said. It used to be entertaining but now it's just boring. it really is time for them all to get a life.

EXACTLY!!!

I couldn't care less about the latest slight felt by Islam.

It is simply ridiculous paying attention to this crap....

Now, of course, every single one of these people know that in Islamic countries Imams regularly preach death to the West and death to Christianity. They well know the hatred expressed toward Jews on a daily basis.

Muslims commit their atrocities while Christians commit theirs. I don't see a difference regardless of how one side kills the others Innocent civlians.

Is this morally superior?

No, Oh Great Apologist of Islam, that is NOT morally superior.

What IS morally superior is the ability to view an insulting cartoon, listen to a questionable speech, or look at a piece of art denigrating your religion WITHOUT mounting huge protests with folks foaming at the mouth in a fanatic's frenzy, without burning embassies, without attacking clerics, and without wishing death on anyone.

Islam seems incapable of this, Christianity does it all the time.

Thus Christianity IS morally superior.

U.S. Media Overlook Expose on Chinese Embassy Bombing

10/22/99

(Click here for an update on this story)

A detailed investigative article in the October 17 London Observer reported that NATO deliberately bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade last May, after discovering that the embassy was relaying Yugoslav military radio signals.

The report contradicted the public assurances of NATO leaders that the missile attack had been an accident. The Observer's sources included "a flight controller operating in Naples, an intelligence officer monitoring Yugoslav radio traffic from Macedonia and a senior [NATO] headquarters officer in Brussels."

So far, the reaction in the mainstream U.S. media has been a deafening silence...

The second cartoon is HILARIOUS!!

BTW, when comparing the origins of the "religion of peace" and Christianity, ask yourself these questions:

How much territory did Jesus Christ conquer?

How many folks did Jesus Christ put to the sword?

Muslims upset? Tough titty.

A whacko religion unable to adjust to modernity. Let them wallow in their anger and violence. For the most part this ignorance leaves muslim societies impotent basketcases.

If there is no god but allah and Mohammed is his prophet then old Mohammed must have had a fit when he looked to the future and saw how backwards and pathetic Muslim ideology would become.

The next Crusaders can leave the weapons at home and instead recruit n a cartoon drawing Pope.

Muslims insulted? I'm insulted that anyone panders to the pathetic toilet turds. I'm tired of everyone demanding respect for a religion that treats women as semi-humans and advocates violence and intolerance. I don't respect Islam anymore than I respect Nazism or wife beaters.

Pope statement not enough: Muslim Brotherhood
Sat Sep 16, 2006 8:58am ET

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood said a Vatican statement on Saturday saying Pope Benedict was sorry for upsetting Muslims with his comments on Islam did not go far enough.

"We want a personal apology (from the Pope). We feel that he has committed a grave error against us and that this mistake will only be removed through a personal apology," Muslim Brotherhood Deputy Leader Mohammed Habib told Reuters.

"Has he presented a personal apology for statements by which he clearly is convinced? No," he said.

In a speech on Tuesday the Pope repeated criticism of the Prophet Mohammad by the 14th century Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus, who said everything the Prophet brought was evil "such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached".

The remarks sparked outrage across the Islamic world.

"The Holy Father is very sorry that some passages of his speech may have sounded offensive to the sensibilities of Muslim believers," Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone said in the statement.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a political Islamist group founded in Egypt which has inspired movements across the Arab world.

Why does this not surprise me - they are going to milk it for days..

That is my point: Christ refused to be drawn into geo-political wrangles.

Mohammed, on the other hand, would happily have bombed and butchered his way through any infidel population..........as shown by his actions.

Merciful God, You made all of the people of the world in Your own image and placed before us the pathway of salvation through different Preachers who claimed to have been Your Saints and Prophets. But, the contradictions in their teachings and interpretations of them have resulted in creating divisions, hatreds and bloodshed in the world community. Millions of innocent men, women and children have so far been brutally killed by the militants of several religions who have been committing horrifying crimes against humanity, and millions more would be butchered by them in the future, if You do not help us find ways to reunite peacefully.

IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE COMPASSIONATE, THE MERCIFUL, look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the controversial teachings of arrogance, divisions and hatreds which have badly infected our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; reunite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish Your purposes on earth; that, in Your good time, all nations and races may jointly serve You in justice, peace and harmony. (Amen)

Originally I was going to ask why we as Canadians didn't raise a shitstorm like this one over the pope's remarks on our country, but Colpy answered it better than I ever could. Of course we are more cultured, civilized and morally superior to these savages who want to destroy us and whatever happens to them in the course of this war serves them right.

A familar refrain. Dehumanize the enemy and they are easier to kill. Its not like they are real human beings like us right?

If Muslims are savages, then what are we?

We have invaded and colonized their countries. We imposed Israel on them and continue to support Israel's oppression, injustices and ethnic cleansing.

Our leaders recently deceived us so we would support their war crimes in Iraq. Even when the truth about our leader's atrocities become obvious, we aren't outraged. Instead of making these criminals pay for their crimes, we re-elect them so they can continue committing crimes against humanity.

Be honest, how many of us feel 9/11 like empathy for the victims who have suffered in Beirut http://www.lebanonembassyus.org/Photos.html , Fallujah or Baghdad. Few of us care how many innocent Muslims have been slaughtered as a result of our invasions and occupations based on lies and deceptions.

Who are the real savages here?

Pictures of Destruction and Civilian Victims of the Anglo-American Aggression in Iraq (March / April 2003)

Please note that some of these pictures are not suitable for small children and those who have weak hearts. These photos are only of a very tiny fraction of the thousands of Iraqi Civilian Victims who have been terrorised, humiliated, injured, maimed and killed through British and American bombing of civilian areas in various cities of Iraq. Due to insecurity, independent reporters could not and still can not reach many areas to photograph and report the atrocities. Several independent reporters and journalists were deliberately bombed to prevent them reporting the atrocities.

Fallujah: Victory Rises Above a Mass Grave

by Aaron Glantz
A team of local volunteers wearing surgical masks lifts the rotting body of a middle-aged woman from a shallow grave in the front yard of a house. The house owner says the body lay there three weeks.

A U.S. aircraft bombed her car as she fled the city with her husband. The husband was buried in the garden of the house next door. The destroyed remains of the car are scattered a few meters away.

"We couldn't give her a proper burial," the house owner told IPS, "because every time we would go outside, American snipers would shoot at us. They even shot at us when we retrieved her body from the car after the Americans bombed it."

The head of the medical clinic says his clinic's ambulance was fired upon by U.S. Marine snipers twice during the siege. One of the clinic's volunteers was killed...

The Consequences of Colonization in Iraq: We Are the Barbarians
By M. Junaid Alam

Counterpunch.org

April 28, 2004

A significant thing: it is not the head of a civilization that begins to rot first. It is the heart.
-Aimé Césaire

Jaw agape and fangs unsheathed, American colonialism has lashed out with severe brutality against the newly-unified Iraqi resistance, counting on its military might to crush the aspirations of Iraqis who seek to liberate their country from foreign control.

Relying so heavily on the force of arms against a people it claims to liberate, the US has inverted Clausewitz's famous dictum that war is a continuation of politics by other means; our policy now is politics as a continuation of war by other means.

But it so happens that this is a double-edged sword with both edges thrust firmly into the heart of the occupation. For no matter how many Iraqi patriots America kills, ten more will spring forward for each who has fallen; and no matter how many are silenced by American bullets, the viciousness and arrogance with which those bullets were fired will speak loudly and convincingly to thousands of Iraqis who will be inspired to resist.

To illustrate our point it is necessary only to direct our gaze upon that great unfolding tragedy of Fallujah, the epicenter and icon of Iraqi resistance. US forces surrounded and attacked the city on the grounds of pursuing Iraqis who killed and then mutilated the bodies of four American mercenaries. The massive assault was carried out with the usual concern for civilian life: namely, none.

'Precision' weapons such as 2,000 lb. bombs and the massive Specter gunship, armed with four high-powered machine guns, were brought to bear against the town, as were attack helicopters and 60-ton tanks. Our troops employed such life-saving tactics as lobbing 18 tank shells into one house to kill one person and firing helicopter missiles at a rebel wielding a slingshot. (1) One Fallujah resident explained to the press, "As soon as the Americans see a group of people in the streets, they shoot at them, people venture out only if their homes risk being bombarded or if they must carry the dead or wounded to the city's clinics." A young Iraqi member of the US-created Civil Defense Corps saw "heavy bombings" with the town market hit, and "tanks ringing the town." (2) US snipers in the city, perhaps the only precision weapons deployed, have put their uniqueness to good use: shooting through ambulance windshields and killing their drivers. (3)

What were the broad consequences of this operation for the people of Fallujah? Thousands have fled and over 600 have been killed; the main hospital director said "most of the 600 dead in Fallujah were women, children, and elderly." (4) Another volunteer doctor reported that "The main hospital was taken over by the Americans. Doctors and patients had to evacuate to local health clinics." This resulted in even more suffering: "patients had to lie on the ground because of a shortage of beds. We were doing operations in the open. But we didn't have enough sterilizing equipment." He added, "About half the injured are women, children, and the elderly." (5) Those who needed to be operated upon received no anesthetics, which were "lacking", according to a Red Crescent official. (6) Such were the horrors under which thousands suffered and hundreds died.

Let us be honest with ourselves: this barbarous assault had nothing to do with capturing anyone. One never sets out to capture a handful of people by mounting a military assault on a town of 300,000,. Those rebels responsible for the four US deaths most likely melted away into more remote areas long ago. In fact, US officials have now dropped the demand for a hand-over of the offending rebels altogether. (7) No, this vicious attack upon an entire city bore the hallmarks not of any manhunt, but rather that of an arrogant power lashing out at what infuriates it most: humiliation...

The worst part isn't that our leaders commit atrocities, its that we no longer care that our leaders commit atrocities.

Who are the real savages????

Q:What do you think of western civilization?
A: Mahatma Gandhi: I think it would be a good idea.

If Muslims had done these things to us, would we be angry?

The militants have less skill than five year old children in controlling their tantrums - and no doubt semantics plays a large part in their "misunderstandings" of what the Pope has to say - but the Pope has every right to speak up and criticize and if they sink so low as to threaten the lives of people in Italy for their interpretation - they are less than savage - merely unevolved creatures.

Some interesting quotes from the Qur'an.

Just a s few included here:

Nowhere is love used except to say to love Allah.
Muslims are commanded to murder the enemy.
Christians are commanded to love our enemies.
This latest outburst by Muslims proves how uncivilized they are.
Islam is the only religion you MURDER your way into heaven:
*****
Qur’an 9:5 “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”

Qur’an 9:112 “The Believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed.”

Qur’an 9:29 “Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission.”

Qur’an 8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”

Qur’an 8:65 “O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; if there are a hundred then they will slaughter a thousand unbelievers, for the infidels are a people devoid of understanding.”

Qur’an 8:73 “The unbelieving infidels are allies. Unless you (Muslims) aid each other (fighting as one united block to make Allah’s religion victorious), there will be confusion and mischief. Those who accepted Islam, left their homes to fight in Allah’s Cause (al-Jihad), as well as those who give them asylum, shelter, and aid—these are (all) Believers: for them is pardon and bountiful provision (in Paradise).”

Qur’an 47:4 “When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah’s Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom (them based upon what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam.”

Qur’an 4:74 “Let those who fight in Allah’s Cause sell this world’s life for the hereafter. To him who fights in Allah’s Cause, whether he is slain or victorious, We shall give him a reward.”

(9/11 prediction here?)
Qur’an 4:78 “Wherever you are, death will find you, even if you are in towers strong and high! So what is wrong with these people, that they fail to understand these simple words?”

Qur’an 4:104 “And do not relent in pursuing the enemy.”

Qur’an 8:57 “If you gain mastery over them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them, so that they would learn a lesson and be warned.
If you come upon them, deal so forcibly as to terrify those who would follow, that they may be warned. Make a severe example of them by terrorizing Allah’s enemies.”

Qur’an 33:60 “Truly, if the Hypocrites stir up sedition, they shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy—a fierce slaughter—murdered, a horrible death. "

Lovely stuff - and Islam is a religion of peace?

Saying that "violence is incompatible with God" dehumainizes Muslims, does it? That's hilarious. The pope says violence is incompatible with God and the Muslim world goes apeshit, killing Christians (not even just Catholics) all over the world. Good job demonstrating how Islam means peace. Again.

Gunmen shoot dead a foreign nun in Mogadishu’s SOS hospital
Breaking News
Aweys Osman Yusuf
Mogadishu 17, Sep. 06 ( Sh.M.Network) - Unidentified gunmen are reported to have raided Mogadishu’s SOS hospital and gunned down one of the foreign nuns in the hospital.

Reliable sources say the nun, thought to be an Italian, is confirmed dead. A bodyguard of the nun instantly died after he was fatally shot by two men reportedly armed with handguns.

Reports also indicate that the two assailants have been nabbed by armed guards within SOS hospital.

Six other suspects have also arrested as one of the Islamic Courts leaders Sheik Yusuf Indho-adde told reporters.

The motive of the attack remains unknown.

There has been a call for a demonstration against Pope Benedict XVI comment’s on Islam that sparked anger in all Muslim world by some Somali educated clerics. However, it is clearly not known if this fatal attack has anything to do with that.

This is the first time an Italian in SOS Somalia has been shot dead. The report over SOS attack is still sketchy as no reporters are allowed entry to SOS compound.
Shabelle Media Network Somalia

Well well that nun whether of Italian ancestry or not was certainly "dehumanized".
