Choice of containers for face cream, hemp fibre cars, local sourcing and paperless offices do not make production even remotely green.

Oh so being an Eco-Friendly Company doesn't count? :p

Come on don't be a stickler
Hummmm... the guy who dumps tons of toxic petro-chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides on his crops is telling you what is green and what is not. The guy who makes up shit and tries to pass it off as truth. You can't win an argument with someone who talks in circles in a never ending spiral of bull shit.

No. It's not eco-friendly.

Well, neither are we or most of our technology.

I say yes. Everyone should be free to take whatever drug they want if they are adults who know the risks. I haven't used any illegal drugs since I was about 22 and have no plans to resume whether they become legal or not. People should be able to decide for themselves though. Prohibition clearly isn't doing a damn thing to stop people fro, using it or dealing in it.

I don't know what his angle is putting out this statement but he's a slimmy POS and is likely only doing this to try and get some cred back which won't happen based on the whiplashing he is taking for making this claim which he likely has only done because Sessions is 100% against legalization. Americans are seeing right through him on this. Him and his corrupt buddy Bob Menendez are prime examples of sleazy politicians.......

During an interview on NPR’s Morning Edition on Friday, New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker announced that he will be pausing fundraising from pharmaceutical companies, a move that comes after months of activist criticism for his vote against allowing drug reimportation to the United States.

Booker first faced a backlash on social media, where he repeatedly defended his vote, saying that he supported the issue in concept but had issues with the particular amendment; he also was confronted by Democracy Now’s Amy Goodman days later at an inaugural event where he continued to defend his vote against the bill.

Sanders also implicitly criticized Booker for his vote. “The Democratic Party has got to make it very clear that they are prepared to stand up to powerful special interests like the pharmaceutical industry and like Wall Street, and they’re not going to win elections and they’re not going to be doing the right thing for the American people unless they have the guts to do that,” he said. “That 13 Democrats did not is disappointing. I absolutely hope that in the coming weeks and months you’re going to see many of them develop the courage to stand up to Pharma.”

Booker’s latest move is a sign that the pressure from activists is working. Not only did he reverse his position on the issue, but he also has backed off of fundraising from the industry — although it remains to be seen how long this “pause” will last.

I don't know the answer to that, but I do know one thing on the negative side. A lot of people don't use pot BECAUSE it's illegal, so we are going to have to be prepared for a deluge of new pot smokers! How many of those are going to be under 25 for which it is deemed to be harmful? A little "food for thought"!

In Portugal where all drugs are legal, drug use has dropped dramatically and so has addiction. They spend their money on rehabilitation instead of cops, lawyers and prisons. Legalizing may spike use for a short time but then it will drop off. All drugs should be legal and addiction should be treated as a health problem, not a criminal one.

It's certainly to be hoped that, that is how it plays out!

11 Year Old Suing AG Sessions, U.S.D of Justice, and DEA to legalize Medical Pot

“I just want kids like me to be able to do what normal kids are able to do,” said Alexis Bortell in a Skype interview with WFAA from her new home in Colorado.

Alexis lived in Rowlett until two years ago. Pharmaceuticals couldn’t stop her crippling seizures, so her family packed up and moved to Denver where they discovered medical marijuana is the only thing that could help their oldest daughter.

It’s not the kind of medical marijuana that’s smoked but rather a blend of THC and CBD cannabis oil.

“I haven’t had a seizure in 866 days,” said Alexis.

She’s one of several plaintiffs asking a federal court in New York to reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I drug and essentially legalize it as medicine.

The West (and the East) wants to rebel against any God's commandment in any way .. so they commit adultery, homosexuality, abortion, wine, gambling .. etc etc. and now they want to legalize the drugs causing addiction which are worse than the wine.

Such marijuana for the West may be like the addictive Khat or qat used legally in Yemen, although it is of a different category.

As with most things, maybe best just to keep religion right out of it!
