Republican governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared in the Copenhagen conference. He was joined by the Prince of Wales who is so admired by that big proponent of GW in Republican Bush.

Since climate change is cyclical, an ice age might be beginning, even as a short term warming trend is starting up, or winding down. The change is constant. One thing for sure, we will have another, Probably won't be for a few thousand years.
But, I don't think we have to worry about it, neither our childrens' childrens' great grandchildren.
A near future meteor strike would be just as, or even more, likely. In which case, it's probably all over for us anyway. Hey, the second coming might happen too. Follow the money and see who's benefiting from the BS and fear mongering.

The last camp I ran was just north of Rankin inlet and a year ago they were still calling for civil disobediance in all the village newspapers.
The Innuit have not had good access to the internet and media untill just a few years ago and they do like the "attention" they get from the world.
Yes they jumped on the bad khabuna(white man) bandwagon and then it backfired on them as polar quota's were cut.
So now they tell villagers to say it was a "defense" killing and they have been.
Kind of ironic.
