With all the customers they have they should be making more of a profit. Some say on Residential DSL services that no they actually lose money.

I believe it. Large corporations such as Bell create these services just to enlarge their empire, and when it becomes a losing battle, they are forced to make it profitable. Right now, it's been pretty much a fight with former @Home providers (Shaw, Rogers, Videon, Cogeco etc.) and although Bell has made considerable gains, its just not profitable enough for the big guys.

And they have 300,000 more broadband customers then Rogers. Go figure. Some say Rogers is losing money on their broadband also.

Even if they are losing customers they can't start blaming the consumers...its their fault they should deal with it....not take it out on us and make us pay more money.

What are you talking about. They are not taking it out on us. The only way to deal with a money losing service is to raise the price to what it is actually worth and profitable.

Yes, it's either that or make every user get a very large increased monthly rate. I don't agree with the level of caps, but caps are needed. Look at the financials.

They should figure out a way to make this work for all of us. Not screwing us over by how much we download

Look around the world, this is the way it's going because this is the only way it would work, unless you want to pya 75 a month or more for what you now get for 45.

$45 dollars is a hell of a lot to pay for internet...I think around $30 is more resonable.

$45 is nothing to pay for internet. Be lucky we live in North America, you dont even want to know what they pay overseas for a small fraction of we get here.

And if you are with rogers or shaw and have the digital terminal for tv or full cable, you can pay like as low as $24 a month for internet.

Its people that abuse it that brings these caps down on us all. :(

With Shaw you can buy your modem for $59.95 and get an EXTRA $5 a month off the $30 a month charge. Plus you get a free month. Think about it after 3-4 months the modem has paid for itself and your saving money. :)
