I think with Satellite you have a dish to recieve information but you still have to dial in to upload data

Thats correct, with most systems. There are a few expensive systems that allow you to send as well. I can't off hand remember the company that has this technology though.

I'm gonna do some more research shmad and ill get back to yas. At the current moment, Im not switching isps, only in the event rogers caps my service (because I use a lot of bandwidth per month for regular use, not abuse). No one in my office (yet, im not an employee of Hi-Speed) seems to know much about the cap on hi-speed.

Hey lucio, welcome to the discussion! I'd like to know what kind of services you are receiving from Sympatico Ultra, ie. the advertised speed and the speed you are experiencing. Thanks in advance

That's not bad at all lucio! Although I'm on cable, a constant download speed of about 3000 kbps is not bad! But I'd like to mention, Shmad, who lives in BC gets around the same speed as you with a Shaw Cable connection :(

I would be getting that speed if Shaw and Rogers didnt swap ;(
