It shouldn't matter what his skin color is. White, off white, eggshell, yellow, red, black, brown, purple, blue... frankly IF the question was asked it was disgustingly rude of whoever asked it.
Why?

I kinda wondered the same . Here in the land of official multiculturalism Canada it is government policy to honour our heritage , however we are being bombarded lately with anti racism ads on the radio suggesting it is racist to ask ones heritage .Why?

I don't see anything wrong in asking Meghan: "Do you think the baby will be darker skinned or lighter skinned?" It's not racist or rude. It's just like asking about the baby's hair or eye colour.
But I doubt anyone asked that question. Meghan looks white to me. Most people wouldn't know she's half-black without being told. The baby's hardly going to come.out looking like Frank Bruno.
And... you miss the point.
You wouldn't ask a baby's eye color before it's born, or hair color.
Asking the skin color of a baby before it's born is also moronic, and rude especially if one of the parents is bi-racial.
Again, WTF would it MATTER what the baby's skin color would be. If it was dark, would you love the child less? Because it certainly implies that one way of looking at it.
Why not?
Why's it rude?
And what's wrong with asking out of curiosity?
Because you don't know? Though you could be one of those weird people who asks such things because you're clueless about a lot of things, and think people should know these things.
Because it should not matter what a baby's skin color is unless, again, you think there's something wrong with a different color and therefore you see the baby as 'less' because of it.
You can be curious about it and not ask the question, rather you can sit your ass back and wait until the kid is born to find out. Because, for the last time, the skin color should not matter.
It is possible to ask someone what their opinion is, what they believe it's going to be.
And just because something doesn't matter it in no way implies that you can't ask about it out of curiosity.
It seems to me that the world is strange to you and you're still learning about it.
Away with the fairies...
So you can't answer the question, again typical of you.
So racist can't see why it's racist to ask about an unborn child's skin color but supports a snowflake Karen who quit his job cause he couldn't handle someone calling out his BS.
