PETA wants to turn Jeffrey Dahmer's home into vegan restaurant

PETA wants to buy the childhood home of Jeffrey Dahmer, a.k.a. the Milwaukee Cannibal, and turn it into a vegan restaurant.
"Rather than remaining as a stark reminder of its dark past, the building can instead become the site of a celebration of culinary compassion," People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said on its website.
The group, known for attention-grabbing stunts, also likened Dahmer's victims to cows, pigs and chickens.
"The difference is that when Dahmer was caught, his killing spree ended," PETA said.
Dahmer killed 17 men between 1978 and 1991 and was sentenced to 15 consecutive life terms. Fellow inmates murdered him on Nov. 28, 1994.
His childhood home in Akron, Ohio, was put up for sale in August 2012.
The Akron Beacon Journal reported turning the home into a restaurant might not be possible because it's zoned for residential use and is in an area with many other homes.

I'm not sure PETA has a position on PEP (people eating people). Must be real hard reconciling their obvious self-hate with their dedication to herbivority.

Funny irony. I wouldnt eat there, not because of Dahmer or the poor taste of the location but because I dont want so much as a penny of my money going to PETA. If it was another organization and I happened to be in the area it wouldnt bother me at all.
