I am proud of her for saying her thing. She speaks the truth. Global warming has been a fact in science since the 70's. Carl Sagan discovered it was the cause of the planet Venus's overwhelming heat. He stated global warming as a fact back in his book Cosmos in the late 70's. It is a shame that it was even debated back even 10 years ago.

Human caused Co2 emissions on Earth are warming Venus? Huh...who would have guessed.

Good call on letting the Venusions handle thier own CO2 problem.

He passed away. Didn't you know?

From moderation? It's supposed to improve life ain't it? I didn't and still don't know.

Hysterical remarks re climate change from our new gov general. She basically said creationists are idiots - which is of course true but a little uncalled for. When she scoffed at divine intervention she knowingly or unknowingly triggered every conservative idiot in the land. To suggest that life came from random chance? That is not going to go over very well in Jason Kenneyland.

I'm not religious in any way. I'm also not arrogant enough to claim that I know what happens after the lights go out.

Payette, and you obviously are.

Did Locutus really die? This makes me sad if it's true.

No, I just talked to him the other day. He's enjoying life with his lady forum free.

Would identified be a better word than created?

Someone had to create them before someone could identify them, no?

Just look at the complexity of a human eye and tell me that it just fell together by chance.

When you say someone aren't you confining it to a person? How often do people create facts?

How does a freshwater mussel know what a darter fish looks like to mimic it in order to lay eggs in a bass?

I don't see sacred text and science necessarily conflicting with one another. Darwin was describing the physical world whereas the Bible was describing the spiritual.

<sigh>Knuckleheads all around us. The rules of mathematics disallow division by zero, it's an undefined operation because allowing it produces intolerable logical contradictions. No coherent logical argument can be made about anything based on the presumed consequences of division by zero. For example, if 1/0 is infinity then infinity times 0 must be 1, but by the same logic any number divided by 0 must be infinity so infinity times 0 can be any number. There's no way to specify a logically consistent result of division by zero that doesn't violate other necessary rules of mathematical operations. The most you can say, and what any mathematician would say, is that for any two numbers n and x, n/x increases without limit as x approaches 0, there's nothing to be said about what happens when x IS 0.
