They could shut it down. Otherwise what good are laws? Are you saying the state can't enforce laws?
I don't know what the chances of his lawsuit succeeding are, but the government could certainly do something about illegal schools.
The minister of education has brought up the problem of illegal schools and wants them closed unless they can prove the students are getting the same education as regular schools. However just watch who will be the first to go to the CHRC complaining that their right to practice their religion is being violated. They don't accept that religion is separate.
Since it is an illegal school what makes you think the government knows anything about it? They don't even do much to control the illegal activities they know about.
Lets see we have a former student who is going to sue the government because
HE IS IGNORANT. Alright his parents had him in a religious school that was not
considered legal by definition and somehow the government is responsible for his
parents actions because they were obviously ignorant as well.
Seems to me if they were the ones who sent him to a school that was based on their
religion instead of an institution of learning he should sue them, but of course he is
too ignorant to figure that out either
